So peaceful! So relaxing! Very clean and the host was awesome! Had everything easy for us to get to! This is a very sweet spot. We had a great time, even though it rained most of the time we were there. We had the opportunity to use the canoe a few times even with the rain, and we also enjoyed the fire pit one night. We would definitely book again!

My mother and I along with our two dogs stayed three nights in this beautiful lake cabin. The kitchen has very nice cookware and dishes to use. The view of the lake was absolutely breathtaking, especially with the fall foliage. The neighborhood was very peaceful and we enjoyed our time very much. We visited the state park Oconee and did a short hike as well as went into town, called Walhalla and did some shopping and had great cheesesteaks.

We had an amazing stay in Mountain Rest. I lived in the community and worked on the river as a guide for 8 years. I am down here often, but wanted a nice place to put our family for a long weekend. This cabin was perfect! We swam in the lake, made s’mores by the fire, paddled the sup boards around and had some great conversation on the screened in porch. I would definitely recommend this cabin!

Great little lakeside cabin was an easy drive to the river for rafting and fly fishing. Owner was super nice and responsive to any of our needs. Would definitely go back!

Annual lake vacation!

Perfect lake cabin! Exactly how it was described. So relaxing and accompanying. Love the cabin, the lake and the area. The host was very attentive and answered any questions quickly. The claw foot tub was a plus! Looking forward to a visit in the Fall!
