I have stayed here many times and it's always been excellent. quiet, comfortable, a reasonable breakfast, and a good value. however, i've always stayed on the side facing the mountain. this time my room faced the highway. the room is well insulated for sound, but still some comes through. I was able to sleep, but not as soundly. always ask for a room facing the mountain.

Everything was clean but feels stuck in time. Other than the age showing, it is a fantastic place with the owners living on site. I would highly recommend vs the chain hotel across the street. You will not regret it.

quiter than expected since it was freeway adjacent. older but clean. very basic continental breakfast. room rate was a little high for the accomodations but one of the lowest in the area. visited castle crags state park 20 mi south, ate dinner at Pennys diner on the way back--not to be missed 24 hr service and good food with very reasonable pricing. if you want to see work ethic in action the wairess and cook were a team to behold

The room was old but well maintained and clean. Bed was sooo hard like a rock, coffee maker in room didn’t work, but the coffee available in front office was wonderful. Staff was kind and helpful. Recommended Curry King across the street which had great Indian food and yes mexican food. Wonderful, staff very polite and helpful. The continental breakfast was the best! Had boil egg, bananas, apples, danishes, bagels, toast, cereal, hot chocolate, oatmeal, cream cheese was available and milk. Coffee was even good!!

They cancel my stay and I wasn’t notified. I was there at 10pm and the lady at the front desk told me my reservation was canceled in the morning. So I had to look for a place to stay with my kid at 11pm. Very upsetting

Was disappointed when there wasn’t a room with a bathtub even though their photos show bath/shower combo. Manager said they’re broken. Brought a bath bomb to relax. Also their site says a coffee maker in every room. That’s laughable, they did have a coffee maker but no coffee or filters, never seen anything like this. We would only stay here as a last resort!!
