Family Wedding weekend

Lovely home. Heard from locals it’s the best rental in the area and for sure it was! Great location. Home has so much character. Bathrooms and kitchen terrific and great wine glasses! The TV’s were huge and perfect to watch the Derby. Beds super comfortable. Would highly recommend. Tracy RDallas, TX

Surprise

This wasn’t far the cutest vacation rental that I have ever stayed at! I was so surprised when I walked through the door. The outside of the farmhouse is nice and as pictured but when you walk into the house it’s incredibly large. I was surprised at how expansive the rooms were and how high the ceilings were. I felt like I was on a very posh movie set. I highly recommend this home and we hope to be back next year.

Great place

Beautiful views and everything you need. We really enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and old and so interesting. It was so relaxing to swing that giant antique door open and let the breeze come in, especially on rainy days or the evening. I loved to watch the sun go down from either the master bed or the backyard swing. I could see deer most morning as I had my coffee. The kids loved the yard and fields and the bunk room. Could not recommend this property enough. It’s perfect.

Such a nice place and location

We love it here. Extending our stay! It had everything we needed. The location is lovely. There are deer out and about. Beds are super comfy. The huge front door and screen door were my favorite but it’s a long list of great things about this property.

Wonderful New Years Weekend Trip

This country home is outstanding. It is a historical property sitting on a large farm. The setting is beautiful and the home is just stunning. The interior is beautifully decorated and the restoration of the old home is extremely well done. My family and I loved being there. We cooked wonderful meals, had the fire pit at nights, took long walks together and made memories that will last a lifetime! We also went to Lawrenceburg for some awesome antiquing! It was a wonderful trip, we would highly recommend this home.

Wonderful experience!

Even before we arrived the owner was helping to make our trip extraordinary! We were traveling in by car and we were arriving early. I texted the owner and we were allowed to check in when we arrived. I’m originally from this area so being in a beautiful old farm house setting was amazing. The wooden floors were refinished, the decor was perfect, the high ceilings made this large home look even larger. My grandchildren had so much fun running around the yard and swinging on the rope swing. The kitchen is fully stocked with every pot, pan, utensil and appliance one would need to make a gourmet meal. We were greeted to a lovely gift basket filled with goodies for everyone. My daughter was so impressed she said she would like to have wedding there. Plenty of room, towels, extra blankets. I can’t say enough nice things about our experience or the property owner. Any question that I texted was promptly replied to. We will definitely return to this little slice of rural bliss. Thank you!

Absolutely stunning

Where do I even begin with this house? Our stay was INCREDIBLE. We seriously could not have asked anything better. When we first pulled up we were blown away by the stunning location. This beautiful house sits in a picturesque field away from any commotion. We called this the “Mary Poppins Bag” house because it looks smaller on the outside but when you walk in, it’s way bigger than it seems! Our group consisted of my family (two adults, two toddlers + baby) and my sister’s family (two adults + toddler). We weren’t sure what it would be like with all of us under one roof but it worked out perfectly. There was so much open space for the kids to play and they loved running around outside. Every detail of this house was gorgeous. It’s been fabulously upgraded and styled beautifully. It felt like something out of a novel. An added bonus was that the beds were literally the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on! The host was very kind and easy to communicate with, as well! We appreciated that added touch of the little things like a welcome basket, having sound machines available for our children to use while they slept, extra chargers, and more. We hope to make it back one day so we can stay again. We had the best time staying here! ❤️

Beautiful and tranquil family getaway!

This house was perfect for our family’s weekend getaway. From the moment we stepped foot on the property our kids were on the tree swing, hammock, and walking down the trail with our dogs. You can’t beat the view from the hammock!!! With a glass of wine and a good book, I could’ve stayed their for hours!!! The house was gorgeous classy and comfortable. We felt at home and instantly relaxed with enough space for a family of 5. The hosts were quick to respond to any and all concerns and the welcome basket they gave us was chocked full of treats and snacks for the kids and for the adults. We are looking forward to coming back to this little slice of southern charm.

Easter weekend get together

My family and I had the opportunity to stay at this quaint home. It looks small when you first turn the corner but it’s quite large. The pictures were accurate. The homeowner was responsive to our few questions. The owner left ingredients for us to make S’mores - my grandkids had a blast! The ability to sit around the fire pit, chat, laugh, eat s’mores and make memories. This is the stuff that life should be about. Thanks again for the memories!

Beautiful home, beautiful setting!

Everything was perfect1 The house is absolutely gorgeous. Yes, it is an older home and all that comes with that but it has so much character. Beautifully decorated, stocked with everything you need and the communication with Neelly was easy and fast for any questions we had. We will definitely be back!
