The hosts went out of their way to be helpful. We had a lot—and I do mean a LOT—of luggage. They drove their car to the top of the hill, loaded our bags, brought them down, and carried them up the stairs to our room. Removed a second unneeded bed while we went for dinner. Checked daily to make sure we had everything we needed. Held our bags in their home after checkout, and drove them back up the hill to the taxi when we left. Very comfortable property. Loved the junior suite. The views are awesome.

Warm and welcoming

Our stay was just lovely. We had planned to stay one night only and extended to three because Villa Cardak was quiet and homey and host Suzana was so warm, welcoming, helpful. The Old Bridge—Stari Most—is amazing. It draws many pass-through site-see-ers and I’m glad we stay’d a few days to see a bit more. And relax.

Susanna was absolutely wonderful. I've never met a more accommodating host. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and at home. Such a lovely soul. Our room looked newly remodeled and was perfect. Everything was extremely comfortable and the lighting in the room was beyond anything I've ever seen. The welcome refreshments Susanna gave us were so delicious and unexpected. We wrre starving when we arrived but after our refreshments we were able to walk around a bit and explore. This hotel is really in the heart of it all. You can easily shop, eat or walk down to the river. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Perfect place to stay in Mostar

Our stay was wonderful. Our host Susannah could not have done more for us. We were able to leave our bags after checkout to explore a bit more befoure our afternoon bus. When we left, she phoned a taxi and waited with us until we got in. The room was perfect, it had everything that we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was great. The location is less than 1 minute to the Old Town and near the main road so getting to and from was very easy. We had a lovely stay and would stay again if back in Mostar. Our host was superb, we can't thank you enough.

Fabulous hosts! The location is very near the Stari Most (Old Bridge). The room was extremely nice with all the amenities of a 5 star accommodation. Hosts suggested wonderful dining options nearby. Highly recommend this place to stay while visiting Mostar.

A true find in crowded Mostar. In a side alley, away from the tour groups but close to everything. Suzanna and Nejad were perfect hosts. If I come back to Mostar this is where I will stay, without question.
