Horrible As European people, we all know drinking tap water is not recommended for us in India for obvious reasons. We arrived around 1am in the morning and the staff has not been able to give us a single drop of water after a long and exhausting journey as the “restaurant” was closed. The hygiene conditions of the room were outrageous. Dust everywhere, the room has definitely not been cleaned upon our arrival. Smoking paper and tabaco packaging of the supposedly previous customers were still in the drawers when we arrived. Mould all over the ceiling of the bedroom and bathroom The smell was strong. This is actually very unhealthy and dangerous to sleep in a such environment. On top of that the fan was spreading all those bad particles all over the place and in our lungs. Insects in the wooden walls. Overall maintenance of the place was not as shown in the pictures (looked 30 years older). The shower drain was stuck with hair and the water was not evacuating properly (water going everywhere in the bathroom). A total of 6 Electricity shortages from 10am to 4pm. The staff was unpleasant, not smiling and not responsive. The Aralea Beach Resort by Stonewood in Goa is nothing but a bungalow campsite, sold for the price of a palace.
