The host went out of their way to communicate well and make me feel welcome. They offered a farm fresh breakfast basket that was wonderful. Such an enjoyable stay on the farm. Would definitely stay here again.

This place was so cozy! The farm was so cool and we loved that you could see the farm animals from the windows of the house. We got the farm fresh breakfast that we got to cook ourselves and it was fantastic! Overall such a great place for a relaxing retreat. Cannot recommend enough!

The Henry River Farm and Cottage was absolutely perfect for our anniversary getaway in the mountains. Mandy and her family were delightful as well. Even with the pumpkin patch festivities taking place, we felt we had privacy. I would love to visit again!

Absolutely relaxing and beautiful. One of the most comfortable and cozy small-house stays we've ever experienced. Comes as advertised and then some. The host was so kind and communicative. We hope to return before long!

Amazing stay at a lovely farm

Wow, this is a beautiful little place to stay. Very peaceful, serene. The animals are everything you could hope they would be. You can tell the owners work hard to make this an amazing place. Clean, quiet, back porch is awesome. Breakfast was delicious! Look no further if you want a getaway in Morganton. We absolutely loved it!

Quaint, quiet and peaceful

This was a lovely stay with a lovely, hearty breakfast basket. Cleaner than most VRBO’s and the hosts gave us plenty of privacy. Beats any hotel.

Loved this!

We had a fabulous stay in this quaint cottage. Just perfect for a couple wanting to get away from it all and relax. We were immediately greeted by a precious little pup upon our arrival. “Maddie’ made sure to make us feel very welcome. The cottage was exceptionally clean and very well decorated. We loved our stay

It was so cozy and relaxing! We enjoyed the little cottage immensely! We cooked a few meals and sat on the back porch to eat. We relaxed and visited with the cows and chickens. Maddie the dog and Allie the cat came by at least once a day for petting and company. We were traveling on business and didn’t get to hang out as much as we wanted, but the owners are fantastic to work with and super responsive. We were totally entertained watching the children go about their farm chores! Great kids! We will definitely be back!
