Amazing experience start-to-finish. Everything was perfectly as described, from an easy check-in, to a fully apportioned home, to an amazing property with trails and streams and meadows and natural beauty. We can't wait to return!

I couldn’t have more wonderful things to say about our stay! We were secluded enough to feel unplugged and enjoy nature, but also close enough to town for quick store trips and an occasional meal out. We picked blueberries right off the trees which were delicious and my 3 yr old said it was her favorite part! The hike to the waterfall was so cool and also accessible for my toddler and 70 yr old parents and even my sister who had knee surgery 6 weeks ago. It was nice to have nature right outside the door. My kids, husband and I stayed downstairs which was so nice so that we could have adult time upstairs without the kids being bothered. Our monitor worked great even though I was worried it may be too far. The first day I noticed our water pressure was very low and I messaged Peter and he had it fixed within a few hours! The showers were great after that! We truly had such an amazing visit and I would recommend staying at Bramabella to anyone and everyone!

A Beautiful Mountain Vacation

Our family had a wonderful stay at Bramabella. This home is better than the pictures.. open and airy and lots of space to spread out. It is beautifully furnished and has everything you need to enjoy time with loved ones. The owner has paid close attention to every little detail, and was quick to respond to any questions/concerns that we had. We were lucky to enjoy the ripe blueberries!! We will be back again for sure.

Wow—what an amazing place! This mountain house is everything you could want in a getaway spot. The house itself is super cozy, beautifully decorated, and really well taken care of. It just feels good to be there.The garden is gorgeous—seriously, it looks like something out of a storybook. We spent time outside just relaxing, enjoying the fresh mountain air, and taking in the views. It's peaceful, quiet, and the perfect place to unwind.If you’re looking for a beautiful, comfortable spot surrounded by nature, this is it. Can’t wait to come back!

Great location and property

The property was clean, comfortable, and convenient. The signage to the property was optimally located and kept us on the right path. Lastly, Peter was a great host, communicating frequently and giving us tips to improve our experience. It is definitely a place that I recommend and that I would stay at again.

Family Getaway

The fire pit allowed us to enjoy fires everynight with the children and cooked smores. The hike to the creek and waterfalls were great and the kids tried to catch minnows. We picked blueberries and ate them (nothing like fresh from the bush).Beds were super comfortable and the location is quite and 40 cares to yourself and no neighbors-great, Butterflies galore and the kids loved looking at them and drawing them. Several dear sightings as we sat around the fire. 4 adults and 6 children al enjoyed our time there at Peters home, it was great.

Perfect getaway

This is beautiful property and Peter made the entire process completely stress free. Great communication and an incredible "home base" for our music festival weekend. The whole house is clean, comfortable and very well appointed. From the hiking trails, to the front porch, to the back dining area, to the firepit, we made use of them all. 5 star all around! Fall Favorite

We had a large group staying at Barmabella just as the leaves were reaching their peak color. The property is beautiful with the fall leaves and I imagine it is equally as beautiful when the trees are in bloom in the spring. Peter was an attentive host. Plenty of rooms and room to enjoy all the property had to offer.

Excellent stay in every way

The property was beautiful! Quiet, big enough for all of us to fit comfortably, with trails to hike and blueberry bushes to pick if we were bored and didn't want to drive. The house is situated in a great spot, the town was fifteen minutes away, but it's definitely a good size, so plenty of things to do there, and we also took a day to drive to Charlotte, which is only an hour away. Peter was a great host, he was quick to respond to any communication, gave us excellent winery recommendations, and made me feel very comfortable! I would definitely stay here again!

Country paradise

This house feels truly like a home. From the moment we pulled up the driveway, we were amazed by the beauty, privacy, and upkeep of the home. The bedrooms and closets are very spacious. The open living room / kitchen / dining area made it great when cooking dinner for my family, yet still being able to be involved in conversation with them. Downstairs was amazing. We loved the big sectional that fit our family perfectly. The table was the perfect size for our multiple game nights. The outside grill was very nice and easy to use as well. The location was great! Close enough to town to get what we needed, yet provided up with the peace and quiet we were looking for. My daughters loved the blueberry bushes, and hiking the trails. Hearing the water from the yard was so cool! We had s’mores by the fire pit while my kids chased fire flies. Such a fun week! Peter, the host, is the best ever! He truly cares about this home and the property and it shows. His constant communication was the best! We will definitely be back at some point. I’ve already recommended to my family and friends.

Fantastic all around

Everything from the check in to recommendation from the owner were great. He had everything set up to make the trip as easy as walking into your own home. The property is beautiful and the home is even more spacious then the pictures let out to be. The owner went out a bought a nice grill to accommodate our group wanting to be able to cook and stay in one night. The owner went above and beyond! I would recommend this home to anyone!

Everything it says it is and better!

We were only there for 4 nights but wish we could have stayed longer. The home is beautifully decorated and meticulously cleaned. It is spacious on the inside and the outside has plenty of places to explore from the waterfall to the vineyard and even just around the house. It was perfect for our family and we all agreed we would go back. Peter, the host, always answered my questions immediately day or night. I had to give it a 5-star and highly recommend to anyone looking to have a peaceful stay in the mountains of NC.
