As a woman travelling alone and arriving in the middle of the night, I felt completely safe here. The 24-hour- front desk staff was welcoming and spoke fluent English. My room was clean, spacious, and the king bed was extremely comfortable. I was surprised that my room came with a full kitchen (you can even have the staff deliver groceries). The room was quiet. There is a clean basic gym (with incredible city views) and a beautiful indoor pool on the penthouse level, where you can also go to an outside deck for a great view of the city. The area is walkable, felt very safe, amazing shopping and food within a several block radius. I would definitely stay here again.

Le Square Phillips Hotel is always a great stay. Rooms are large, clean and the valet parking is wonderful. Location is perfect! Walking distance to the Bell Center and great restaurants. Breakfast is included and the amenities are amazing. This is a hidden gem in downtown Montreal.

Everything about this place was incredible. The room was huge, the kitchen was fantastic, the pool has the most stunning view of the city, every staff member was helpful, and it’s in a great location. The bedside sconces even had little adjustable reading lights! I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We stayed in a one bedroom suite, with an additional bed in an alcove and a pull-out couch - 4 people one night and 3 the other 2 nights. This was perfect for our needs as a couple traveling with a à young adult and a handicapped senior. Having the full kitchen was great with a dining table was great. The bathroom was modern, large and spotless. The hotel is very centrally located. It’s a shame the Hudson’s Bay Department Store has closed but there’s still a lot going on in the neighbourhood.
