The check-in process was extremely slow, and the key cards didn’t work properly. I also noticed the smell of marijuana on the property. The room itself was disappointing—dusty, with a bathroom door that wouldn’t close completely and a torn comforter. There was no coffee filter provided, and the coffee pot had visible stains, suggesting it hadn’t been cleaned. To make matters worse, the fridge hadn’t been emptied before I checked in.
The roof was under construction, there was no provision for drinking water in the room, and the air conditioning was loud and disruptive. I also spotted a large spider in the room, which made it difficult to sleep that night.
I originally booked the room for two nights but ended up staying only one due to all these issues. The only redeeming part of my stay was the water deck—it was the one thing that helped me stay sane for the day.
