About this property
Mountain Bell Tent near Utah National Parks
This tent has spectacular views of the La Sal Mountains. A private viewing deck, hammocks, picnic table and firepit are each of our tents offer. All our accommodations are at least 50 yards away from each other to provide maximum privacy. There is a cozy queen bed to accommodate up to 2 people. Each tent has their own unique carefully thought-out design with extra blankets, lounge seating, string lights, fans and a propane heater for cooler nights. Battery packs to charge phones.
2 GUESTS MAX.
We are a husband and wife team that purchased this land in 2020. We privately own and operate a sustainable off grid property. We proudly run our business off solar power. We have a recycling and compost program along with happy free-range, pasture raised chickens. We work to reduce waste by supporting businesses that focus on the environment, health and using non-plastic products where we can. We do not use single use plastic and provide washable cotton paper towels and hand towels. We work with locals to bring you tours, pastries, breads and hand crafted souvenirs for you to remember your trip.
Locally roasted coffee/tea delivery service and breakfast is available.
We have vintage fridge that we turned into a free library. Bring a book to swap out or take home a book to enjoy.
No pets are allowed. We do have 1 dog, Raven, and many friendly chickens.
Communal spaces are a fully equipped kitchen, grilling deck, Adirondack seating area, modern bathrooms and a cedar barrel skylight bathroom.
Bathrooms are a short distance from the tent, less than a 1 min walk.
Sauna is available by appointment to our guests.
Strong Wifi available (will not reach Sage Tent yet).
Astronomy Tours available twice a month. Extra cost.
Firewood, fire starter, propane tanks (for heaters) and smores are available to purchase.
Located on private and rural land 40 mins South of Moab and 40 mins from the entrance of The Needles District of Canyonlands National Park.
We opened to our first guests in October 2020 with only 3 bell tents, 1 bathroom and a kitchen inside a tent. Even though we have grown and improved the facilities, we are still a small husband and wife owned and run business. You will see us working and cleaning. When you call, email or have questions, you will be talking with us.
We hope to welcome you!
