We stayed 2 nights at the Side Pocket while in the area for an event. The neighborhood felt very safe, and the gated fenced yard had ample parking for our small utility trailer. The accommodation was very comfortable and clean, and looked brand new (I later learned it was a year old) with no signs of wear & tear at all! And it is pet friendly. Although we did not play pool, the table was nicely placed where you could actually make shots without hitting anything with the cue stick! Although that seems like it would be obvious, in our experience, it is not. In fact, attention to detail was very apparent throughout the unit, from the decor to providing convenient places to put your drink while using the sofa, or to charge your phone by the bed. Whoever designed the space looked at it from a practical POV as well as making it feel homey and inviting.The bedroom is upstairs, and the bathroom is downstairs so that would be a consideration for someone that needs to get up during the night. Although we didn’t cook, everything was provided to make simple meals.Communication was great and we were made to feel very welcome. This will be our first choice accommodation the next time we’re in the area!
