Secured a special rate for a night at the Esplendor and couldn't be more satisfied with the value for money. Nice welcoming reception staff (feliz cumple Martin) and tidiness of the room. Highly recommended this hotel.

It’s an ok hotel for the price. The rooms are clean enough although my lighting system didn’t work. The sheets were stained so I asked for them to be changed, which they did with sheets that didn’t fit the bed so the mattress was exposed. The breakfast buffet was not high quality but had the basics. Pool area is really nice but needs more chairs.

The hotel is nice, very well located, and is really pet friendly (with additional cost) But it has no parking, the mattress wasn’t in excellent condition, the swimming pool is not climatized and I ordered coffee expresso at breakfast, it was regular and expensive (u$s 4 each)

I found the lighting system controlled by sensors spooky.. Albeit, an energy saving system, At times, the lights would go on only partially in the hallways.

I loved the location of the property which was within walking distance to many nice restaurants, shops and not too far from the beach. It’s a nice neighbourhood which is not too busy. There is a beautiful rooftop pool, offering a nice view of the ocean and the city. Excellent service at the front desk, would definitely come back again!

Everything was great and the staff made everything go smoothly! We arrived after midnight and were checked in and in our rooms within minutes. We also had trouble with the key another day and someone came right up with a new key for us!

The breakfast buffet was awful due to the quality and taste. Some of the plates weren’t fresh. The cleaning service was bad, every day we stayed there they forgot something (leaving shampoo, leaving towels, shower cap, other things).

The service at the front desk is very de organized. It seems to have a big communication problem with the other areas of the hotel. Our room didn’t got cleaned 2 days because of a miscommunication from the front desk. The rooms are poorly design and the bathroom always has bad odor maybe from plumbing issues.

Clean, comfortable rooms

I had a very comfortable stay here, the bed was very comfortable which is exactly what I needed after a 20hour journey! The only negative point I could have is that the room was very white! There is no pictures/ art on the wall! Reception staff were very helpful and friendly and breakfast was enjoyable.

Very poor lighting in the room and only one electrical outlet in the bedroom and one in the bathroom. The sink in the bathroom was so shallow that water kept splashing out. The laminate on the furniture was peeling. On the other hand, the location of the hotel was great.
