This is a great property in wonderful location just inside the city walls. One thing, we didn’t realize there was no elevator and upon check in discovered we were on the third floor. A lovely room but a little much for two seniors and four bags. A quick text message to the staff and we were moved down a floor. Very much appreciated! Very generous space in this medieval property. We really enjoyed our stay.

Thishotel is in a fantastic location; it is situated just inside the old gates to the city. And despite being over 500 years old, the room had everything needed for a comfortable stay. My room was huge and overlooked the main road but was still pretty quiet.

Exelente location. Luisa was attentive and very helpful of any need. The space is luxury , clean , spacious and the location it’s close to all sites you. You can walk to the best historic sites I will come back again

Overall this property was excellent! The room and bathroom were clean and huge. Very high ceilings made it feel quite spacious. If you are driving, pay attention to the parking situation. You have to park at P1 and then walk, but it’s not far. The upside is that you’re staying right on the edge of town.

We saw the most amazing sunset from our 4th floor room and the hotel staff helped us get a Taxi from Pienza to the hotel in a pinch. Loved every second of our visit here!

We reserved a room for 3 people and basically got a 2 bedroom unit for a very reasonable price. Beds were comfortable. Unit was clean. Location was great - beautiful view from the balcony over the countryside and was right in the center of the city so easy walking to restaurants and shopping. Parking was a bit of a hassle but I eventually found some. Included breakfast from a cafe on the street that was delightful.

Great stop over, Car Park 1.

Last min booking and what a great find. The first property through the arch at Car Park 1. Lovely old building. 6 rooms available, ours was room 6 top floor, just stairs and quite tight at the top. Great views across the countryside. Couldn't have been better, will definitely use again.

A beautiful old hotel where we had a spacious comfortable room. Valentina was very helpful to us as a source of information, booking taxis, and recommending restaurants. Montepulciano was the most beautiful of all the various towns/cities we visited during our 2 week trip to Italy.

Worth checking out

In the start there were a few misunderstandings and some confusion. Nothing serious. The owner is very kind and responsive. It's a beautiful property and if I'm in the area, I'll stay here again. If you're in the area for tourism be prepared for some moderate-difficult walking.
