Roberto and Victoria have a lovely hotel, clean and well kept. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Roberto was very helpful with onsite parking and went out of he's way to be an excellent host. Highly recommend this place.

Roberto is quite a character - very exuberant and passionate. He & his wife are superb hosts. My room was clean & comfortable, the only small downside is that the air conditioning was only a fan....but at least it didn't dry out my eyes & nose! Breakfast is a great performance. Roberto & Vittoria serve you everything. Roberto comes around with a trolley full of yoghurts, pastries & cakes & insists you try them. Then out comes the meat & cheese on plates for the table all served with his inimitable flair! You will not go hungry The hotel is in a great position in Montepulciano with lots of shops & restaurants around. Yes, as others have said there are quite a lot of stairs in the property but if you are visiting a hilltop town like Montepulciano you must be prepared for stairs & steep inclines around the town anyway Would definitely recommend Hotel la Terrazza

Great hotel in middle of Montepulciano ancient city, our hosts were very pleasant and helpful, Roberto is super fun to talk with and shared me lots of tips for rest of trip in Italy. The terrace on top of the building is special, you can find mature trees growing on it, very quiet place to have breakfast and chill during evening. Very happy I booked that hotel, would go back without hesitation. PS: do not enter the ZTL zone with car !

The best part about Montepulciano was Roberto, the owner and his wife of the hotel. He welcomed us with open arms and made us feel at home. His energy is contagious. He gave us great recommendations for dinner and things to do. We had a lovely stay and were sad to leave. Absolutely recommend this hotel. It is convenient with multiple access to exit and enter. It’s close to the piazza, shopping and food.

What an incredible experience! We absolutely adored our stay with Roberto and Vittoria. The hotel is so cosily decorated and Roberto and Vittoria give you true Italian family hospitality - you feel like part of the family and you’re given a great introduction to Montepulciano with a drive around with Roberto when you first arrive. Roberto and Vittoria were also so kind with our 9 month old baby, who utterly adored them. Vittoria’s breakfast cakes are divine too!!

LOCATION, LOCATION. Roberto's hotel is at the heart of the med-evil city. He and his wife are very welcoming. Provides free car park and is within walking distances of all that Montepulciano has to offer. This is our second time staying there, and will do so again. Bravo!

Rent a car and drive the Tuscan countryside and stay at this hotel in Montepulciano. Roberto and his wife (princess) Elda were amazing and entertaining hosts. The hotel is right in the shopping and dining district, and there are multiple streets and sights to explore. Every few blocks there is another perch from which to look out over the incredible countryside. The room was large and beautiful, and you can hear the shoppers and diners down below the window. Walk up to the Piazza Grande in the center of town.

The owner of this property is rude and nasty with guests. There is no AC in the room, only fan, which is not sufficient. Parking is far away and you have to carry luggage up the hill for about 15 min. Owner attitude is terrible. We would never stay in this hotel again
