Room and staff were great EXCEPT for housekeeping. I had 2 bottles of expensive cologne and a watch stolen from my room. Apparently that wasnt enough, i thought that it was strange when housekeeping was knocking on my door at 9:45 pm .. neither my daughter or myself responded. Housekeeper let herself in claiming to deliver hand towels and handed my daughter a strip of paper with a bible verse on it.. good thing we had decided not to go out that night. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.

Staff was always friendly and wanting to help. Rooms were clean. be careful of your room location if your an early to bed person. we were booked near the all night snack bar and some entertainment went to 11pm an sometimes 1am. so if you're a early sleeper ask for a room a little further from the bar area.

The staff was absolutely incredible. I loved the entertainment, the front desk staff, the bartenders, and the hosts of the parties!! I’ll definitely be revisiting!!!

We had roaches in our room. We killed about a dozen or so. We left our luggage outside so we properly make sure we did not bring any home. This was the only negative thing about our visit.

staff was courteous .food was average at best.all amenities not available due to recent hurricane which we were not aware of… came down Christmas and was unable to watch any football ! Riu is one of the few hotels even back open.weather was great and we felt safe.

The staff were wonderful, great amenities, clean room, & great food/drinks! The biggest downfall was that we didn’t get the garden view booked, only the entrance lobby of the RIU MoBay! That was disappointing as we couldn’t enjoy our balcony due to the noise from the loading/maintenance area or whatever. While room service is 24/7, ordering through their app isn’t beneficial. I placed an order & almost 2 hours later it still showed as pending. Housekeeping is great, but slow. As with room service, requested service through the app for housekeeping, as advised during check-in, only to not receive the items I requested. When I called the front desk, I was told to submit the request with them & they would forward it to housekeeping. In addition, our room did not have washcloths, so I had to request them. For some reason or another, when the room was serviced/cleaned, they would be removed - as they should, but not replaced. This led to us having to submit another request for items. The food is great, but my husband felt the food at MoBay was better. While you can visit & enjoy the other properties, you can only dine at their buffets. Not a lot of entertainment at the Palace, but you can see some at the other properties. When it comes to aesthetics, the vibe of RIU palace is slow & quiet. I chose the location for that reason, but it was too slow & quiet. We thought it was due to the hurricane. The overall look & feel was better at MoBay & we plan to book there next time.

Decent property. No hot tubs was a disappointment. Activities are less. Staff is amazing and sincere. Rooms are pretty big. Vegetarian options are super limited at the main buffett. This place is great for non vegetarians. Overall a nice place..
