The room was very clean; staff was very courteous and helpful. I had no issues with my room, or the premises. Staff greeted me by name every day, offered to assist me in going to a local restaurant, and getting my luggage to the transfer bus, when the driver did not come directly to the front of the property. The verandah was nice and clean, and allowed me to sit and sip my tea every evening, even when it rained, the space remained largely dry, so I was able to sit and enjoy the afternoon breeze. If you just need a place to sleep and change, this is the place. There is a restaurant on site and is in close proximity to many other places to eat. The beach is mere steps away. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

I was looking for a home away from home. Mom‘s places is as close as it gets to a wholesome, calm environment with access to everything you may need. I frequent Jamaica often and stayed in many guest houses in many hotels. I’ve even rented from locals and I will say that Mom‘s place exceeds my expectations. I will be returning every time I come to Jamaica. The price is right and the vibes are memorable. Like waking up to smooth jazz in the morning on the beach.

Although the room wasn’t cleaned on a regular basis, we loved our stay. Beautiful locations and the rooms were as described. It was quiet season so I understand there was work being done on the property but more routine room cleaning would have been nice, for example, every other day. The employees were pleasant and helpful. Loved Paola who always went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We will be back.

Great people in a storybook beachside garden group of rooms and bungalows. This is definitely off the resort track and right into the Negril beach culture. Had a hard time finding it by cab since it's about 100 meters down a narrow path from the main drag to beach.

This unique family owned resort sits right on the edge of the 7 mile beach. Services and accommodations were perfect for what I was looking for. Very economical owners on the property daily and very inviting. Love the fact they secured the area during the night and throughout the day. My room was clean and spacious for 2 with my own bathroom. They serve continental breakfast in the morning. Wish there was a better internet connection, open kitchen and bar for lunch and dinner, but overall it was a great stay! This is a quaint quiet small hotel even though it is an older property.The staff was friendly and helpful. I loved sitting on the porch in the morning. The garden area was lush with greenery. Very relaxing. It was a little tricky to find. You have to take an alley to get there as the location is between the beach and the main road. The little restaurant was closed as they are still undergoing repairs from the hurricane. In fact that morning they were there doing the repairs. The room is basic but clean. We weren’t looking for fancy as we are in Jamaica for the beach. There are many beach bars and restaurants near by and a cute little coffee shop around the corner on the main road. There is a dorm size fridge in the room with small freezer. We would stay again.
