You cannot charge $350-$400 a night and not have coffee or coffee pods the room or an ice machine on property. There was a dead bug in the envelope for the cleaning service. Also, there should be a time - 8pm where children cannot screaming in the pool and running around the property loudly.

Our unit was a 2 bedroom 1 bath. Ocean facing. Our table and chairs outside were cheap old and mismatched! Completely wobbly and filthy. The bathroom was nice but the rest of unit old. Outdated cheap furniture. No tv in bedrooms. Expected better. Air conditioning was good!

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled after my recent stay at the Soundview Hotel in Montauk. To put it simply, this place is not worth the price they’re charging. From the moment we arrived, things felt off. The decor is seriously outdated — like stepping into a forgotten roadside motel from the 1980s, with worn furniture and tired finishes. It didn’t feel clean or welcoming, and that impression only got worse. We had ants all over the room, which was absolutely disgusting. I expect bugs when camping, not when paying premium rates for a hotel. To make matters worse, the room didn’t feel secure at all. The door lock was flimsy and gave me zero peace of mind. There’s not much to do in the immediate area, and with no hotel staff around at night, you’re basically on your own if anything goes wrong. The lack of 24/7 staffing made the whole place feel even sketchier. Overall, I felt uncomfortable, underwhelmed, and overcharged. I would not recommend this place to anyone — there are far better options in Montauk.

Not worth the Money.

The place had terrible furniture. The sofa in the living room was in terrible shape, the beds were mattresses on frames and not at all comfortable. The bathroom is in immediate need of an upgrade. For $700/night this place is not at all worth it.

Vacations ruined!

Highly overpriced in my opinion. The room was so small that we could barely walk, AC extremely noisy, Wifi only worked like 50 percent of the time and on top of that we had as neighbors a crazy family that had 0 respect or education for others and since day one they were yelling in the middle of the night and listening to music at very high volume.
