Had a wonderful holiday. Francesca was so helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, even down to organising a special birthday cake for a celebration dinner. The pool was amazing and having the pool house was great. Ettore cooked two meals for us which were both delicious! Would love to visit again.

Tutto davvero magnifico

Un soggiorno davvero eccezionale in questa splendida villa! Fin dal primo momento siamo state accolte con grande professionalità e calore da Francesca, la proprietaria, e Salvatore, il custode, entrambi sempre disponibili e attenti a ogni nostra esigenza.Nonostante fosse inverno e la piscina non fosse utilizzabile, il campo da tennis a nostra esclusiva disposizione ha reso il soggiorno davvero speciale. Per noi che amiamo lo sport è stato un valore aggiunto incredibile che ha elevato l'intera esperienza.La cucina è stata una piacevolissima sorpresa: completamente attrezzata con tutto il necessario per preparare qualsiasi tipo di piatto. Da appassionate di cucina, abbiamo potuto sbizzarrirci nella preparazione di numerosi pasti senza mai sentire la mancanza di alcun utensile. Inoltre, un dettaglio non da poco, i letti erano molto comodi e la presenza di 4 bagni ha permesso una gestione davvero semplice anche di un gruppo di sole donne numeroso come il nostro.Un ringraziamento particolare va ai proprietari per averci permesso di trascorrere un Capodanno indimenticabile in questa location d'eccezione. Ogni dettaglio della villa ha contribuito a rendere il nostro soggiorno perfetto.Consigliatissima per chi cerca un'esperienza di soggiorno di alto livello con tutti i comfort!

The Real Italy

Authentic and peaceful - real Toscana experience - wonderful host, Francesca, who provided everything we needed and more. It’s off the beaten path but an easy drive to wine tasting and beautiful places like Lucca and Siena. The pool is amazing. We loved the house and the surroundings. Breakfast outside every morning. Tons of birds and nature views - if you are a nature lover, this is your place! Have Ettore cook you an authentic Tuscan meal, he is amazing! Do wine tasting with Massimo at Barbiella. Salvatore keeps everything in top shape! Highly recommend. We plan to go again!

Large villa in heart of Tuscany

Lots of room in this villa. Private and very quiet location on the hillside with nice views from both sides of the home. Francesca was very friendly and helpful. Just under an hour drive to Florence, Pisa or Siena. We also visited a couple of beautiful towns (as suggested by Francesca), We loved Volterra.

Fabulous

Everything from the owners communications and help to the stunning property was perfect. Everything we could have wanted was there, including cribs & highchairs. There is a personal chef on property Ettore who is extremely helpful, with toddlers we decided to have him make brick oven pizza's for us which were delicious. The pool, tennis courts and soccer field was the hit and where we spent a lot of time, it's perfect. The villa itself is beautiful, 3 of 4 bedrooms have king size beds a few w/ their own bathrooms 2 share but there are enough bathrooms throughout the house, and of course the views are lovely. I hope everyone gets a chance to visit this beautiful and most relaxing property. My only note for my fellow animal lovers, there is a dog on property who lives in an outdoor chicken wire kennel which broke my heart(but that's my thing) Five stars

Schöner Familienurlaub

Alles bestens, lediglich die vielen Bremsen waren lästig. Da kann nur leider niemand was dafür. Die Betreuung und auch die Kochkünste haben wir sehr genossen. Ohne Auto ist nicht wirklich was zu erreichen, die Zufahrt geht über eine etwas holprige Schotterstraße. Für Ruhesuchende oder Familien die Platz zum Toben suchen ist es hier genau richtig.

Superb Tuscany Hideaway

We visited Francesca’s property with 7 friends. The house was very clean, the beds are very comfortable, there are enough bathrooms and the kitchen is equipped like no other we have ever seen. The pool is a few hundred meters from the house and can easily reached by foot. The pool area itself blew all of us away - the pool is HUGE, the tennis court is well maintained and the pool house offers multiple fridges and a table tennis area. Francesca has been super helpful throughout our stay and it was most pleasant to be in contact with her. Also make sure to try Ettore’s food - it tops all the restaurants we have been to during our stay! All in all the trip was one of the best we have ever had and we’ll make sure to try to come back next year! Thanks Francesca!

Perfekt für Ruhe-Suchende

Wir waren im Juli 2023 mit 5 Erwachsenen für eine Woche in San Paolo und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Es gibt quasi keine Nachbarn und man ist ganz für sich. Check-in durch Ettore war reibungslos. Wir durften sogar ein paar Stunden früher anreisen und am Pool verweilen, bis das Haus fertig war. Vielen Dank nochmals für dieses Entgegenkommen! Durch ihre schweizer Wurzeln spricht Francesca gut Deutsch, was uns die Kommunikation sehr vereinfacht hat. Der riesige Pool war immer sauber, obwohl wir auch sehr windige Tage hatten. Im Pool-Haus gibt es zwei Kühlschränke, Tiefkühlfächer, WC, Dusche, Grill - also alles, um dort den ganzen Tag gut zu verweilen. Wir hatten einen kleinen Bollerwagen dabei um unsere Sachen vom Haus zum Pool zu bringen. Die knapp 500 m vom Haus zum Pool bieten eine wunderschöne Aussicht in die herrliche Landschaft, so dass wir diese Spaziergänge immer sehr genossen haben. Das Anwesen ist beeindruckend und riesig. Im Haus bzw. in der Küche fehlt es an nichts. Drei der vier Zimmer gehen zur Nordseite, wo auch die kaum befahrene, geschotterte Straße lang geht. Ganz hervorragend sind auch die Kochkünste von Ettore. Wir durften sein 4-Gang-Menü sowie Pizza aus dem Steinbackofen genießen. Alles ein Genuss! Fazit: Umsorgende, unaufdringliche Gastgeber und tolle location.

Perfection in Tuscany.

A beautiful house in a great location in Tuscany. Centrally located with easy access to Florence, Pisa and Siena. The house had views from both sides and is on a huge property. We enjoyed the tennis and table tennis courts. Francesca provided racquets and balls for both. Unfortunately we were too early to enjoy the pool. The house is large and well equipped, with a lot of space to relax. Francesca is an amazing host, she responded quickly to all our messages and was helpful with restaurant reservations and recommendations. Having Etore cook two dinners for us was a delicious treat. Overall the house provided for all it our needs and made for a wonderful family reunion in a beautiful part of the world. Bring your own soap and shampoo as it was not provided.

Super verblijf

Heerlijke ruime woning op een rustige locatie met uitzicht op het typische Toscaanse landschap. Vanuit deze locatie kun je goed dagtrips maken naar zowel Pisa, Florence als San Gimignano en Volterra. Het grote zwembad was eind april nog niet open, maar we hebben zeker goed gebruik gemaakt van de privé tennisbaan. Francesca was erg behulpzaam v.w.b. tips om boodschappen te doen en restaurant reservering op de dag van aankomst. Helemaal top was het dat we onze (gehuurde) elektrische auto bij het huis konden opladen zonder extra kosten. We komen zeker nog een keer terug, want 5 dagen was tekort om alles in de omgeving te zien en ook te relaxen bij het huis.

Amazing Experience!

My husband and I stayed with another couple at the house. During our stay we had some of our European friends come join us for a night or two, or for dinner. The villa looked amazing from the photos, but far exceeded our expectations! We corresponded with Francesca who responded to our questions in a timely manner. We were greeted by her upon arrival where she gave us a thorough tour of the house and pool area. She’s extremely friendly and helpful. Expectations of us and the assistance available were clearly outlined. We hired Ettore, the chef who lives on the property, for two meals that were delicious and plentiful. We highly recommend him not only for his beautiful meals, but his pleasant nature. The villa sits on an expansive property and provided plenty of room for us and our friends. It was in a good location to make day trips to other Chianti areas such as Greve and Volterra. The home is very well equipped with dishes, glasses and cookware (the best we’ve experienced with rental homes). It is a short walk (about .3 miles) to the pool and tennis court which also has a great pool house with kitchen, bathroom, and shower. The pool is HUGE and was the highlight of our stay. We even played some tennis during our stay. Overall, we had an amazing experience and highly recommend it!

Stunning and spacious Tuscan villa

We really enjoyed our stay at this stunning villa and its surroundings. We were six adults and three children between 1-3 years. Francesca and Ettore were extremely helpful throughout the whole stay. We needed advise regarding a doctor on Sunday and Francesca was readily available to assist us where to go. We booked Ettore’s cooking for the last night we had at the villa within the whole group and only regretted the fact that we had not booked his menu for multiple nights during the week. The food was absolutely amazing. Best lasagna we’ve tasted. Ettore also kindly helped us to make a booking at a local taverna. The views from the villa were stunning and the pool as well as tennis court were both in good shape. Our group can highly recommend the villa!

Another great holiday in tranquil Tuascany.

The pool at this property is absolutely fantastic and was the main attraction for us so that we could swim properly every day. We shared our time at the villa with family and friends. The family tended to stay around the property and enjoy all the benefits that the villa and surrounding villages and towns had to offer while friends branched out for days trips to towns and cities further afield but always enjoyed coming back for a cool down in the pool. The property is situated in a rural setting with spectacular views over the surrounding countryside. There are plenty of eating options at the property or locally with a barbeque at the pool house; a fully equipped kitchen in the house or meals provided at the property by Ettore and a range of quality restaurants nearby. A great place to relax in and enjoy the Tuscan atmosphere.

Unser Aufenthalt in der Toskana war sehr schön, der gesamte Ablauf lief reibungslos und unkompliziert. Vor Ort wurde sich gut um uns gekümmert und auch das Haus hat alles geboten, was man braucht. Der Pool Bereich lässt keine Wünsche offen und ist gut gepflegt. Ettore hat wundervoll für uns gekocht! Wir haben den Urlaub alle sehr genossen!

Great family home with top sport facilities and lovely atmosphere

We (family of 7 and visiting couple) had a wonderful time at Collegalli. The house fitted perfectly, we even had a bed room to spare. Plenty of bathrooms, and large dining tables (inside and outside) for long Italian evenings enjoying la dolce vita. The pool is great, as is the tennis court, we had many family competitions and a lot of fun. Ettore made great pizzas and dinners for us, so we didn’t have to leave our mountain for dinner. Great views over the Tuscan country side. Loved every minute!

Wir waren im Juni eine Woche mit der Tennis Mannschaft in Montaione im Trainingslager. Der Aufenthalt hätte nicht besser sein können! Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das Haus bietet eine große Küche und die Schlafzimmer sind alle sehr sauber und geräumig. Am schönsten ist die 500m entfernte Pool-Area. Es gibt dort Kühlschranke für Getränke und Essen, Duschen und einen Pool der keine Wünsche offen lässt. Der Tennisplatz ist in einer sehr guten Verfassung und das Poolhaus ist perfekt um auch mal der Sonne zu entkommen. Ettore und seine Familie kümmern sich um alles und sind sehr sehr nett. Ich kann jedem empfehlen einen Abend Pizza oder toskanische Spezialitäten bei Ettore zu bestellen. Wir kommen jedenfalls wieder!!! Vielen Dank für diese schöne Zeit.

Come me la aspettavo

Bel casale toscano con una bellissima storia alle spalle.Location stupenda,piscina enorme,campo da tennis molto bello.La proprietà molto disponibile.Purtroppo molti tafani che però essendo in aperta campagna a seconda del clima stagionale possono esserci.Un po' più di attenzione sulla pulizia.Qualche ragnatela con ragnetto sul soffitto che con facilità gli addetti alle pulizie possono togliere,la piscina pulita i primi giorni ma dopo metà settimana non più curata.Però le grandi qualità superano di gran lunga i piccoli difetti.Ottima vacanza.
