Die Lage ist einzigartig, die Einrichtung ebenso. Die Strasse ist hörbar, es hat viel Verkehr. Aber der Blick aufs Meer und die Zentrumsnähe ist grossartig. Die Betreuung vor Ort ist toll und unkompliziert.

This is a great apartment in an excellent location. We were just across the street from the beach. We could either watch people and dogs or the changing colors of the water.What we enjoyed most was the terrace, the open kitchen/living area, and the location. Also, very fun to be in an older building with the high ceilings. The apartment was light-filled and spacious.The host, Catherine, was very helpful.Some things to know about the apartment: kitchen was well-equipped. As others have stated, two of the bedrooms were very small with single beds. This would be perfect for a couple with small children. The terrace was wonderful and much bigger than it appears in the photos. Again, location was perfect. An easy walk to the big market, the old town, and the shopping districts.There is no air-conditioning, which worked well for us because temperature stayed in the mid-70's. The apartment was also designed to catch breezes, but higher temperatures may have been uncomfortable.This apartment is highly recommended. We would stay there again.

Magnifique, perfect, excellent!!!!Location is just super, near very good beach and close to restaurants, promenade and old part of the city. View from the balcony is amazing, ideal place for a breakfast or evening glass of wine.Catherine is perfect host, very welcoming, gave us good recommendations for best restaurants and bakeries - all that we visited were 10 of 10!!Only one minus - absence of AC. It's really necessary for hot days. Hope it'll be installed till next season, as planned and we'll come back again!!

We loved this place. The apartment is really nice and it’s close to everything (the beach and shops and restaurants). We appreciated specially the balcony. The only thing we missed was air conditioning since we had a couple of hot days during our stay. We would really like to come back next summer!

The location is fantastic and the flat works well for a couple, but the 2 single bedrooms are small and a bit depressing - one has no windows. The balcony is exactly as in the photos and lovely to sit there watching the world go by. We had a good time overall but worth pointing out that the apartment block is old fashioned and rather gloomy. The beach was wonderful, there are great coastal walks and loads of restaurants to choose from.

Great location, fantastic patio and roomy apartment

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is fantastic and we were on the patio whenever we were at the apartment and enjoyed several meals and snacks while enjoying the sunshine, the sea and the beach. Merci!

Super Wohnung mit minimalen Abstrichen

Kurz gesagt: Alles in allem gut bis sehr gut. Die Wohnung hat aus unserer Sicht eine perfekte Lage. Alles für den täglichen Gebrauch in direkter Umgebung. Wunderschöner Ausblick. Allerdings muss man seinen Parkplatz separat in der öffentlichen TG buchen was preislich nochmal oben drauf kommt. Da wir im Dezember/Januar da waren ist es etwas „kühl“ gewesen. Es gibt zwar eine Heizung aber nicht in jedem Raum. Dafür hat das Bad ein Fenster. Allerdings wenig Ablagefläche, was bei 4 Personen etwas knapp war. Die Betten sind uns etwas zu hart gewesen, aber noch erträglich.

The perfect, stylish stay in Menton

We loved our stay in this beautiful beachfront apartment. The art and vintage furniture gave it wonderful style and the location was great - steps from the beach and a very short walk to restaurants and shops. We hope to visit again next year. Many thanks for hosting us!

Excellent terrace and location, but no AC

An originally furnished apartment next to the beach. Unfortunately there was no Air Condition installed. We had small electric fans in the bedrooms, but it was not at all enough as the temperature was more than 30 degrees Celsius during our stay.

A real pearl!

We had a wonderful holiday in Menton with surroundings. The appartement was really beautiful and the balcony with its wonderful view gave us great pleasure several times a day. It’s easy to get around by bus or train. We walked a lot around the neighborhood and visited both the old Menton, Cap Martin and Roquebrune village. Appartement ancien et rénové avec goût. Vraiment à nos goûts avec des ancien meubles design et de belles œuvres sur les mur. Simple et fantastique. La terrasse est juste superbe. et près de tout, vieille ville, bon restaurants, plages et pas si loin de la gare.

Just what we needed

I don't think I can begin to summarize our stay at La Terrasse du Soleil. All around an excellent experience. The location of the property could not be any more ideal. The views fantastic, the water inviting, and the ambience of the apt perfect. Our host Catherine was both accommodating and informative. I would highly recommend this listing. Make sure you take advantage of the sundeck.

Superbe Appart Design au bord de la promenade

Très bel appartement ou nous nous sommes sentis en vacances dès le premier pas. La situation au bord de la promenade, le Design, le grand balcon face à la mer.... Top. L'appartement a beaucoup de charme et est bien équipé avec des ustensiles de cuisines en bon état et utilisables. Accueil très pro et amical de Catherine qui nous a donné plein d'idées de sorties aux alentours. Idéal pour un couple ou couple avec un enfant. On se sent très bien dans cet appartement cosy. A noter l'absence de climatisation, qui n'est pas forcement un point négatif et aussi l'absence de machine a laver le linge, qui nous aurait manquée si nous étions resté un jour de plus. Pensez absolument à confirmer votre heure d'arrivée à Catherine - même si c'est pas toujours facile... Bref nous recommendons chaleureusement et espérons pouvoir revenir bientôt. Accueil super chaleureux de Catherine😁, de bons conseils pour le séjour, l'appartement est sympa, petit bémol il n'y a pas de micro ondes et de quoi laver son linge mais on s'adapte. L'endroit est très joli et l'appartement est très bien situé face à la mer et à deux pas de la ville. A venir voir🙂

Great location, beautiful terrace view, close to everything

We got a very warm welcome from Catherine, who also gave us some great tips on what to see during our stay. The location of the apartment is outstanding - 1 minute from the beach, and 1 minute from the main shopping/restaurant street. Menton is literally on your doorstep. From the spacious terrace, you overlook the lush garden below and the beach (just 50 metres away), with views of palm trees in the evening sunset, people promenading back and forth with an ice cream, and the gentle comings and goings of guests in the hotel gardens right next door. The apartment is light and airy with high ceilings, and is well-maintained, beautifully decorated, and comfortably equipped - though we found the mattresses a little bit firm for our tastes. The convenient location of this apartment (and the great rail connections) meant we could spend 8 days in Menton without a car, simply using the trains to visit the beautiful coastal towns and beaches. We would definitely return.
