Great house, great location

This house is in a great location on top of Eagle River. Spacious house, beautiful sunsets, ideal location to travel up and down the Keweenaw Peninsula.

Visit to Keweenau

Great location and a very cozy historic home. We enjoyed walking to the lakeshore and seeing the historic district.

The cottage was in a great location being within a few blocks of Lake Superior and close enough to drive to Copper Harbor to Brockway Mountain Drive and Estivant Pines Nature Sanctuary. It is also close to falls a few blocks down 4th Street and the Jam Pot and Jacob Falls were just a few miles down the road.It was very comfortable and had all the amenities that you would need. It had the perfect number of beds for our group as well. It was a quiet and relaxing location and we were able to enjoy the Northern Lights on our second night. It was a very enjoyable experience.

Charming & well equipped home in Eagle River. It was just my husband and I but this would be great for a family or extended family. As stated in the description, the stairs to the second floor are steep but manageable. Easy to access all of the great outdoors the Keweenaw has to offer. Coffee on the porch, brilliant sunsets at the public beach down the hill and star gazing when the sky was clear made for a wonderful getaway.

Beautiful well kept and clean house. Gorgeous backyard and basic amenities not too far. The listing excludes a bathroom, kitchen and entry but we were relieved to find them to be clean, in good condition and spacious. We would definitely stay here again! The only reason for the 4 star rating is that the fireplace wasn’t working and after calls and a visit, it was concluded it needed repair. Our room got a bit chilly. Overall I would recommend Dragonfly Cottage.

Good time had by all

We all had a wonderful time staying at the dragon fly cottage. The cottage is located in the center of everything we wanted to go visit. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone & everyone who is looking for a central place to stay for sightseeing in the area.

nice place to see colors in fall

Nice old house, comfy beds, very decent kitchen (we ate out except breakfast and one lunch, but very adequate) You can walk down to the water and a great restaurant Fitzgeralds, walk up is steep. Great place to come see the colors in the fall!.

Great location

Perfect location between Calumet and Copper Harbor. House was clean and well-appointed. The playground/park just down the street was a nice surprise as well. Also, enjoyed our short walk down to the water for Fitzgeralds and watching the sunset. Would definitely stay again.

Keewanaw Getaway

Overall this was a wonderful, large home that accommodated 4 adults and 2 children. Easy access to M26 and lake Superior along with Eagle Harbor and Copper Harbor being a short drive up M26. Beautiful area that we hope to visit again.

Great place to stay

Dropped our son off at Michigan Tech and decided to stay here rather than at a hotel for our family of 5. Its a beautiful old building that is very well maintained and very clean. The host was responsive and helpful throughout the whole process. Highly recommended.
