Close to Churches and chocolate! Very nice but the kitchen needs some help with a coffee pot for in the morning and a stove that works/microwave also with easy instructions. Easy checkin/out but not very mobility restricted friendly. An elevator would help! Overall very nice! Grazie Mille

Great hotel fantastic location (other than it’s behind the main road but one cobble stone road away). St. Peter’s Festival was happening the night we stopped, so the main road was shut down as pedestrian and it was fantastic! The hotel beds were so great compared to others we’ve visited. Only one complaint, the air conditioner….if you can call it that, it didn’t work much at all and as the place is nice and eco friendly (which we do like) it could not be kept on in order to keep it any sort of decent temperature, thank goodness the evening cooled off a bit. But we loved the place and would stay again or tell our friends. We would just check that the air was working better next time before bed time.

Great break!

Conveniently close to Modica main restaurants centre area. We stayed in the Annex building which is situated in a stepped street. However it was worth staying there for a very quite surrounding.

The hostel was absolutely lovely. Definitely one, if not thee best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. It was small, but personal, clean, and in a great location. You could tell the staff really cared about the guests and tried to make their stay the most enjoyable while also being eco-friendly. Overall, great experience! If I ever come back to Modica again, I know I’ll be staying here.

Centrally Located

Stayed for one night at Modica Old Town Rooms, situated in the heart of Old Town Modica, walking distance away from several restaurants, cafeterias and other shops. Also close to several attractions including the museum of chocolate and several churches which all can be reached on foot! The room we had was very sweet and spacious. Although no breakfast is included, there is a small kitchenette which can be used by guests to make coffee, etc. For those who like towels etc to be laundered every day, please note that this can be done but at an extra charge of €5 per laundry - this was the only drawback, otherwise everything was excellent!

Great Stay!

Spent 2 nights to visit this lovely hill town. The hotel is very centrally located, yet was very quiet (except for the occasional church bells). There are many restaurants, stores, gelaterias, and chocolate shops nearby. We arrived and left by train, and the train station is an easy 15-20 minute walk. Check-in & out were easy, and the staff was very friendly & helpful in directing us to local sites. The room was comfortable & clean, with the necessary amenities. The only issue would be if someone is not comfortable climbing stairs, as there is no elevator. We definitely recommend.

This is a wonderful place to use as a base for exploring this beautiful part of Sicily. We had room 103. The place has been open for about 3 years, but everything seems brand new. Really comfortable bed, excellent bathroom. Paola is an excellent host, just a pity she is only there in the evenings. We'll definitely be staying there again.

Excellent location, great hospitality!

A well considered hotel with a welcoming feel and communal kitchen. My en suite room was perfect in every sense; newly refurbished, very clean and tranquil. Perfectly located in a typical building close to good cafes and within easy walking distance of sights of interest including the case delle farfalle. Highly recommended. I will use again.
