Cute cabin on Lake Holbrook outside Mineola, about 30 min from First Monday Trade Days in Canton. Booked for a group of ladies going to Canton. The listing says it sleeps 10, but we had 5 and it was a little tight in the main house so a couple of us slept in the adjacent bunkhouse. The lake view is beautiful and exactly as described- very serene!! The beds were all comfortable, and the heaters/AC units worked well. We did have a few issues… the counters in the kitchen, main house bathroom, and bunkhouse bath were dusty and had dead bugs on them. There were no washcloths, hand towels, or a bath mat in the bunkhouse, and the kitchen dishrags were dirty/stained. Trash from the previous renters was stuffed in the back of the pull out trash bin. There is a coffee maker, but the filters provided were the wrong size and caused an overflow/spill. Just overall needed to be cleaned and stocked better - especially for a larger family or group. We were greeted each evening and morning by the sweetest stray pup who truly felt that her place was inside the house which made it a little difficult to enter and exit. We all agreed that the lack of cleanliness in the unit(s) overshadowed the positives.
