The cottage was old, but well-equiped, comfortable and spacious. There are two negative aspects: 1. proximity to the road so that it was noisy at times; 2. cleanliness was generally good though we collected a lot of sand when we swept the floors and the toilet seat had not been throughly cleaned.

The stay in this property was something of a time travel bringing us back to the era of simplicity and generosity. If you are into hearing the bell calling for breakfast and dinner- this facility in business from 1938 is right for you.

Very friendly and efficient staff. The cabin was pretty bare boned and dated. The shower head only produced a trickle of water. Everything was clean.

Cabin was clean and staff were very attentive. Included breakfast and dinner were very good and we made use of the small fridge in the cabin for our own snacks and drinks. Cozy peaceful setting. Swimming was great on Gull lake. We made use of the canoes. Hoping to return next year.

Old lodge so it’s a bit rustic, but clean rooms. Has good food included with the room rate. Nice staff. The beaches were nice too. The only thing is that there’s a bit of confusion regarding the kayaks/canoes/paddle boards and lack of clear signage of what belongs to the resort and what belongs to private owners.

We travelled with 2 adults and 2 teens and stayed in their standard cabins. Cabins were clean and comfortable - beds were great! Washrooms could use a refresh as fixtures were quite old and dated Breakfast and dinner were included in our stay and the food was generally good, with many items made from scratch. Delicious soups! Lots of activities for everyone to enjoy including two private beach areas. We opted to go to the Gull Lake side mostly. I would be careful abiut having young children on the property as it is right on the highway and highway must be crossed to access beach. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We all enjoyed our time here and I would recommend overall.

It was great having breakfast and dinner included with the room rental. There was the option to buy lunch as the location is at least a 20 minute drive to a town. The beaches were clean and nice to have free access to water craft. The staff were amazing, cheerful and helpful. We would go back again and we will tell friends about it.
