Its a nice property and the staff is very friendly. However, my room was not ready when i arrived, understandable as we arrived about 3 hours before check in. The staff kept telling me the room hasn't been made up yet. I came back at 2, check in time, room still wasn't ready. Was finally able to get my room at 3:30. Turns out the room was ready, but they were doing construction on the rooms above and next to me, they just wanted to avoid me hearing them. Except 8 am the next morning they started again. It was a nice room with a nice view but the construction ruined our opportunity to rest and relax in the room.

Hotel might be nice but customer service is rubbis

Booked a room for a colleague using my card. I needed to make a change to the reservation but by the time I got through to Hotels.com customer services, I missed the deadline. First, they tried to charge me £££ to change a 2 night reservation into one. I had to speak to the hotel directly. Not only the hotel was not understanding, the lady hung up on me, then denied doing so. Even though I paid, due to gdpr they refused to make a note on the reservation, that the guest was arriving at 11pm, and refused to wait for my email confirmation and respond to that. Took 3 calls and 2 emails to make the change and the people I dealt with, provided substandard customer service. Definitely not what I experience with other 5* hotels in Milan and around the world. My colleague travels a lot to Milan, but I will never book into the Westin again.

Shocking sudden cancellation!

I booked 4 rooms for a a work trip With important clients and working crew. We only knew during check in time that one of the rooms was cancelled! I was shocked and embarrassed in front of this client… we waited for a long time at the front desk, finally the staff got my guest a room with a different rate. I asked for the reason of the sudden cancellation but she failed to tell me and asked me to check with your site, she didn’t even know it was booked via hotels.com, her record was Expedia!!!

A well located, clean and beautiful hotel. I would have given five stars, but I have two complaints. They turn off the air conditioning seasonally, which means you can't really control the temperature in the rooms. I guess if your preference is to sleep in a sauna it's fine. And, not as quiet as you'd think. Some of the rooms are set-up away from the common area hallways. I was thrilled to find our room set-back from the hall and even with a second door closing off the sleeping area. But, our quiet retreat was disturbed every night when our upstairs neighbor came in. Definitely not soundproofed rooms.
