Enjoyed our stay

We had a wonderful family vacation. The location is tucked away in the woods for privacy, but close enough to some beautiful beaches. It was very clean, well appointed, and our kids loved riding the bikes that were provided.

Yearly Family Reunion Week

We have been renting in Michianna Shores, for over 25 years, and this years rental was by far, the cleanest home we have stayed in. It was comfortable and sparse, with just the right amount of decor. We found the dishwasher and oven to be a bit tricky on the settings, although we eventually figured how to work them. Since we eat every meal in, we found the cookware and dish towels to be somewhat lacking. We made do and rewashed as we went along. We enjoyed the screened in porch, the fire pit, and the adult bikes that were available. The additional dwelling was comfortable albeit, it lacks a bathroom. The garden lights lit up our path for nighttime reentry into the main house. Allison was excellent in answering any questions or issues we encountered. We highly recommend this home.

Best time ever!

Had a girls trip here and it was excellent. Can’t wait to come back! Alison was extremely helpful and responsive and the home is comfortable, spacious and thoughtfully designed. Don’t hesitate - it’s perfect!

Absolutely perfect

This place is exactly as pictured, The area around it is very quiet and peaceful. We appreciated the supply of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, toilet paper and trash bags. There were a lot of high quality touches to the entire place. Even the throws and pillows. We did have an issue with the kitchen sink but maintenance was sent immediately and it was resolved. Maintenance man was very personable and kind. I was desperate for an early check in and the host was able to grant me that which was so helpful. The house and area overall were just so peaceful and serene. Highly recommend this property. Host is extremely prompt and helpful.

Girls weekend

Great getaway for group of girls! The place was so cute I didn’t want to leave. The beach is nice and super close. Beds are comfy and the host spent a lot of time making the aesthetic feel cozy and cute.

Beautiful Space for a Family Weekend Getaway

The house is beautifully designed and furnished, and well stocked with everything we needed for a last minute family weekend to celebrate our parents' 50th anniversary. We definitely took advantage of the fire pit, hot tub, and beach access (despite the chilly gloomy weather, the kids still had a blast). Very family-friendly with plenty of games, beach toys, bikes, etc. Highly recommend!

Perfect Getaway!

Loved our stay. The place was very clean, modern, had everything we needed to feel at home, and was an easy walk to all the sites we wanted to see. Also it was close to a big supermarket which was handy, and a quick drive to dozens of restaurants and cafes. Communication was great too; our host Alison even left a welcome book detailing things we needed to know about the house and area. We would highly recommend this wonderful lake house!

Cozy getaway

This house was the perfect setting for a winter girls’ getaway! The check-in/check-out process was seamless and expectations for check-out were clearly communicated by the host. The house was immaculate and cozy. Even with the cooler temps, we enjoyed a walk along Lake Michigan, a fire outside in the fire pit and the hot tub. We are already talking about booking this property for another girls’ weekend in 2024! Thanks for a great getaway!
