Power went off multiple times in the building, had to walk up and down the stairwell from thee fourth floor. After having two knee surgeries, I can tell you it was miserable!

Bring your disinfectant, cleaners, and patience!

Pros: cheap and close to family. Cons: no one at front desk for check in for 15 minutes and then the clerk made excuses for negligence, dirty counters/floor in room, sticky phone, uncomfortable bed, thin walls and ceilings, you could hear everything, dirty hallways (they never once vacuumed the whole week we were there, we had to fetch our own linens, overall just meh.

Facility was clean and modern. Beds/pillows were very comfortable!! Average decor. Nice gym! In the room- it could use some updating on the cabinets in the kitchenette (i noticed some peeled front face of the cabinet door under the sink). Ice machine worked great (only one available located on 2nd floor). Exterior grounds were kept up. This facility is located next to a great shopping plaza, gas stations, and a few restaurants. The staff are polite. Theres no store or gift shop. Just a few vending machines on first floor. For an accommodating price, it was comfortable to stay here.

Room was dirty, never had been vacuumed, made complaints never got vacuumed after my complaints, sheets where never changed full of dog hair! There was a dog ticl on the curtain, and i reported crack heads braking inn the room 216 on the secund floor nothing was done. Strippers came to hang out outside in the parking lot very unsafe back door was open at all times.

This place is filthy. Linens and towels are the poorest quality possible. The bed seems to have been used by an obese person and is totally uneven.

Couldnt beat it for the price.

We evacuated from the west coast to Homestead so I hadnt taken time to read any of the reviews, so shame on me, however for the money it was just fine. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean. Unfortunately the elevator was out of service when we arrived and had all of our hurricane prep, which took 4 trips up the stairs between my husband and I taking all we could carry each time. The walls were thin and you could hear noise from the hallway and other units. Fortunately, nothing was noisy late or too early. There was also a strong smell of food being cooked from other units. Didnt really bother me, but might bother some. Like I said, I booked this in a hurry, so hadnt read that there were no plates or utensils or cookware in the kitchenette, but there is a Target and other stores very close by so we picked up paper plates, papertowels and plastic ware. The other guests and residents we encountered were very friendly and we felt it was a safe area.
