Maritza was an excellent host! Room was good, except the AC was acting goofy. It would randomly shut off. Not sure who Grumpy Gus is in the morning that opens for breakfast, but he looked like he needed a nap or maybe he just doesn’t like me. But I digress. Breakfast was good. Would like potatoes of some kind. And an apple. But the sausages, eggs, toast, and waffles got the job done. Lady at the counter when I checked out was friendly. Too bad the Mr. Cranky Pants wasn’t like the girls.

I am extremely disappointed with my stay. The room was filled with an overwhelming perfume/fragrance smell, which was incredibly uncomfortable for someone like me who is sensitive to strong scents. It gave me a headache and made it impossible to relax. On top of that, there were children making a lot of noise outside late at night, and shockingly, no staff came out to manage the situation or stop the disturbance. This level of negligence is unacceptable for a hotel. I was angry, uncomfortable, and unable to rest properly. This stay completely ruined my experience, and I would not recommend.

Room was clean and staff was helpful and courteous. But the hotel is old. The air conditioning in our room was blowing some kind of pungent musty smell. The mattress and pillows had same smell. The cleaning staff had done a good job of keeping it clean and room smelled of disinfectant when we came so the musty smell was not initially noticeable. Other than that it was a good place and nice staff.
