Arrived at Casa Maria Menaggio and the following items listed on the website as amities were not in the unit: Microwave, toaster and coffee machine. The host manager, Lake Como Holiday Rentals, did not answer their phone on several attempts at 18:40 even though their business hours are listed as open until 19:00. Tried two after hours emergency numbers several times with no answer. The next morning spoke with a management representative and was told those items did not come with the unit. Had her look up the unit on their website so that she could see that they were listed as amenities. We received a microwave and toaster that afternoon but never received a coffee machine after several calls.There is a Moka pot in the unit. However, it is not compatible with the electric stove top. When placed on a burner, the burner turns off immediately. Had to call the management company the morning after arrival to obtain the wifi password and to find that the washing machine is in the basement. Eventually found which of five or six washing machines in the basement could be used by us. There was no mention in the instructions or website that the machine was also shared with another unit.Having said the above, I highly recommend the unit if sitting out on the terrace in the evening with a fabulous view of Lake Como, Menaggio and Bellagio is on your list of priorities. However, you may have to deal with lack of communication / response from Lake Como Holiday Rentals.
