The morning started off bad when the alarm clock in a neighboring room sounded at 4:30 a.m. and continued for 10 minutes. I don't think anybody was in the room; I didn't hear anyone stirring around after the alarm clock finally stopped. The housekeepers need to check that in rooms that are not occupied. Then, when I woke up and saw the time on the clock (around 6:30), I thought I had a few minutes to wake up slowly and get out of bed. Then I got a phone call at 7:00, according to the alarm clock, but it turns out it was actually 8:00. The clock was an hour behind, which had me starting the morning off an hour behind. I couldn't figure out how to change the time on the clock except for the alarm time. That was a really bad start to the day, because I didn't get down in time for breakfast which ended at 9:00. A simple thing, having their bedside alarm clock set wrong, made a big difference for me.
Take your own tissues with you because ther
e are none in room. Also I could not change the temperature on the wall thermostat. I could change the number to a different temperature but it automatically went back. And it was too warm this morning. The last thing I mention now is the shower curtain rod which was loose at both ends so it's sagged, which meant that the shower curtain couldn't be pushed all the way to the end and stay there. I finally had to get a wash cloth wrapped around the rod at the top and hold it so I wouldn't be pouring water out on the floor.
