I didn’t have enough time to explore the place as it deserved but Douglas and the service and the consideration shown his guests was excellent I would travel a bit further when visiting Scotland just to stay at Kirkland

An excellent venue

From the moment I arrived the hosts could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The location is both quiet and yet convenient for local attractions. The rooms were spacious, light and airy. The breakfast was magnificent with freshly cooked local produce - some home grown. There is plenty of information provided regarding local sights and restaurants. Douglas was more than will to help and advice at any time. If I ever return to the area again I would certainly stay here again without any hesitation.

Our team had a very enjoyable stay whilst working nearby. The host was a fountain of knowledge who could not have done more for us. One of the party was injured and our host went above and beyond to ensure he was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with the additions from the local bakery and butcher, as well as home made jams and marmalade. Thanks again from all at SWS

Excellent B&B in peaceful location near Melrose.

Excellent 4 night stay in upmarket B&B situated in peadeful location in private house & grounds. Breakfasts excellent, and host very helpful providing much local info to make our visit enjoyable.

Luxuary Accommodation with a personal touch.

Very comfortable bed with electric blanket, beautifuly decorated and furnished throughout. Excellent breakfast with their own eggs, home made jam and produce from the local area. Our host, Douglas was most welcoming and helpful in offering us information about the local area etc We feel as if we've been staying in a palace!.

It's a lovely property, i stayed in a suite in the msin house. Rooms are big with gorgeous countryside views. Breakfasts was delicious....what ever you wanted was no trouble. P
