Relax in this unique and peaceful getaway in picturesque Branda da Aveleira! In the pastures surrounding Branda, fields and mountains, you can easily spot sheep, cattle, horses and even goats. This is the perfect place to leave the frenetic pace of city life behind and experience, up close, the cultural richness of the mountain landscape and daily life linked to agriculture, sheep farming and beekeeping.

Os proprietários foram de uma extrema generosidade. Vieram ao nosso encontro numa noite fria, em que ficámos na rua por termos fechado a porta com a chave no interior. No dia da partida, face ao nosso receio de enfrentar o percurso de carro nos caminhos de pedra então cheios de neve e mesmo gelo, vieram ao nosso encontro equipados para rebocar o nosso carro em caso de dificuldade nalguma subida. Ali estiveram nas duas ocasiões, com um sorriso e toda a solicitude. Também não esquecemos o miminho com que nos acolheram: um bolo fofinho e muito saboroso.

Uma aldeia rústica e de beleza única! A casa é antiga, mas muito bem limpa e organizada. Tem todos os itens básicos para nossas necessidades. Ao chegar fomos recebidos pela dona, muito atenciosa e simpática. Para quem procura um sítio para descansar na natureza eu recomendo! Só algumas sugestões: vericar a cabine da casa de banho que estava escorrer água, mesmo com os vidros fechados ; e talvez disponibilizar um telefone basico fixo ou móvel com linha telefônica, apenas para casos de emergência, já que algumas operadoras não conseguem abranger o local.
