Room had a strong sewage smell. Put the foot towel over the drain. The ibis hotel chain leaves a stupid message like all corporations these days acknowledging the aboriginals. Dont need it, dont want it. And what a bunch of hypocrites, did not see one aboriginal worker there. Give it up ffs

I recently stayed at the Ibis Melbourne and had a great experience overall! The location is fantastic, making it easy to explore the city, and the price was very reasonable. My room was clean and had everything I needed for my overnight trip. While the room was a bit small, it suited my needs perfectly. The only downside was the parking cost at the hotel, which was quoted at $70 per night. I was traveling with my son and had an early red-eye flight to Perth the next morning, so I really wanted the convenience of parking onsite. I wasn't keen on walking to an offsite car park at that early hour. Overall, I would recommend the Ibis Melbourne for its great location and value, but just keep the parking costs in mind!
