Spring Getaway

This cabin is so welcoming with all the comforts of home. The hosts are fantastic and always so helpful and caring. The last day of our stay always pulls on the heartstrings wanting to stay a bit longer.

"THE BEST"

This cabin has it all!!! It is everything as described.....and more. It is so beautifully decorated, clean and it absolutely had everything you need for your stay. Hosts were amazing to wirk with!!! Cant wait to go back.

New Years Getaway

This cabin is incredible. The attention to detail is extraordinary. It was amazingly well stocked with everything we needed and the decor and furnishings were utterly beautiful. The surroundings were serene and views from the porch were stunning. The hosts were a pleasure to work with. Check in and out was very easy. I highly recommend this property.

Post Christmas Escape

Wife and I decided at the last minute to book a little post Holiday escape somewhere in the mountains. We were not expecting much, but stumbled upon this lovely little cottage near the Blue Ridge Parkway just off 58 in Meadows of Dan. The property was slightly challenging to find at first, but only because we were navigating in very thick fog, haha. Once there, it was everything we dreamed it could be. Very cozy, and a good thing too because it rained and stormed both days. We snuggled up by the fire and decompressed. Cannot recommend enough... Unless you plan on booking when we are trying to return. :-). Thank you Tristi and Alex for decorating and stocking the cabin with just about anything one could image. We will be back.

The many meadows of Meadows of Dan

My husband and I loved this little cabin overlooking the many meadows out back and with Buffalo Mountain in the distance. The night sky was full of stars without the ambient light of a more densely populated area - so beautiful. The peace and quiet was just what we needed to fully relax. The cabin was wonderful- clean, cozy, comfortable and with a well-appointed kitchen that had everything needed for our Thanksgiving meal. Thankfully, we didn’t need to get in touch with our hostess, Tristi, but she made sure we had her number and let us know that she was going especially attentive to her phone around our ETA. We would happily stay at this cure cabin again.

Home away from Home

This is our favorite cabin so far, and we have stayed at different ones for the last 5 years. Very clean, well thought out for not only guests, but for our furry guests as well! First cabin that has a swing, as well as rocking chairs, on the deck. Enjoyed the beauty of the mountains, and the mooing of the cows. Would definitely stay here again, if available.

Lovely cabin full of thoughtful touches!

We really enjoyed our stay here! You can tell just how much thought and effort Tristi and Alex have put into making this a wonderful place to stay. They have included all the nice to haves on top of it being super clean and beautifully decorated.

Pre-Autumn Getaway

This cabin was breathtaking to include inside decor and views from the deck. Check-in was super easy and the host provided excellent detailed directions and instructions for the stay. Nearby stores, Blueridge Parkway, trail walks, wildlife and Mabry Mill were fun adventures. My dog accompanied me and he thoroughly enjoyed his stay. I loved the cabin and area so much that I'll be returning for an Autumn stay!

Perfect Mountain Getaway

We've been going to Floyd/Meadows of Dan for over 20 years now. We found THIS cabin and have stayed here for the last 10 years. This is the perfect cabin - everything you need is already there (except food of course). We love the cabin, back porch swing, view and the hospitality from the owners. It's our perfect getaway in the mountains and we are so thankful the owners share it with us each year.

Beautiful house with a better view

Wonderful R n R Get Away!

We truly savored our long weekend at the cabin. The kitchen was fully equipped, organized, and wonderful to cook in. Not only did they have oils, spices, baggies, sponges, soaps (and more) but all the cooking tools in the kitchen were above average over any place we've stayed at in the past. We did not have to "make due" with anything. We loved spending time on the deck from our breakfasts, enjoying cocktails and cheese in the early evening, to watching a storm roll in. We explored the area and enjoyed coming back to the cabin. I suppose they have a TV there, (haha) we just never used it. Tristi and Alex were a dream to rent from. They were great with communication, gave ideas for places to check out, and just really thought of everything. You won't be disappointed!
