Family Weekend!

The cozy cottage is just that… warm and cozy! The owners were communicative and very helpful. The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked throughout. We cooked a large breakfast for a group on our last day and the kitchen had all of the essential cooking items we needed. The surrounding area is beautiful!

Stayed here for my birthday to get away from the chaos of the city life, loved the solitude. House was perfect, clean and organized. Great place for a team getaway, etc.

Great Cottage

We rented this place with friends for the Thanksgiving long weekend and absolutely had a blast. Everything is clean and look just like the photos. The kitchen is very spacious, easy to entertain while cooking dinner every night. We enjoyed the hot tub and the game room too, both foosball and dart are good quality. Beds are comfortable as well. The place is close to so many different regional parks and hikes as well as small town. Very easy to get around. Most importantly, we really like Laura, the super host. She is responsive, easy to communicate, and most importantly very considerate. We will definitely book this place again if we are back to the area!

Lovely property, fabulous hosts!

Perfect Property

This property was exactly what we needed for an overdue girls weekend. The location was perfect for some antiquing on Saturday, close enough to town but far enough to get away from traffic noise. We took a few nice walks through the neighborhood - it's lovely! The house had everything we needed to have a relaxing and enjoyable weekend. Thank you.

Great Vacation spot for families and friends!

This property is exactly as described. The hosts are super responsive and will help you if you need it. I would highly recommend this to a group of friends looking to hang out or families. The layout is such that forces you to hang out, but has room everyone, which is perfect for a get together. Two families could easily share this spot for a vacation. The place is clean and has everything you need.

Quiet and Clean

Laura was communicative and supported privacy. Home was well-stocked for travelers. Did not see in description of need to go through one bedroom to access the next. Main bathroom could use an update. Home sleeps 6 but living room comfortably seats only 4-5 and seems a bit empty. Overall, comfortable and clean in a quiet atmosphere-close by Auburn but enough away to provide calm. Would recommend.

A little trip away from the city

Property was nicely settled off main road. Lots of trees and we saw deer regularly. The house was cozy, updated kitchen, and good space. The bathrooms could have used some updating, including some additional storage in the master. The location was great, far enough from the noise but close enough to do some exploring in nearby Auburn and Rocklin. We took a trip through the mountains to Apple Hill as well. Overall cute, cozy space! Highly recommend.

A quiet retreat yet close to everything!

It was a perfect place for our out of town family to stay together for our daughters wedding. We enjoyed the game room and hot tub as well as the spacious living room and kitchen for visiting with friends and family throughout the week. Laura is a great host and communicator who made us feel welcomed and informed. Perfect for a short or extended stay-a quiet retreat yet close to everything!

Peaceful Getaway

We had such a quiet and relaxing stay at Laura‘s place. The rental is a charming older cottage with a nice updated interior and modern "country style" kitchen that was easy and pleasant for cooking. The location and surroundings were beautiful. We enjoyed watching the deer who came to visit us each morning in the yard. We were really impressed with the cleanliness of the house and all the extra amenities. My wife really enjoyed that the hosts provided both regular and decaf coffee. The biscotti was a nice touch as well. There is a wonderful Holiday Market that is very convenient to the house for all of the food and beverages that you might need. We also really appreciated the privacy of this place and the easy self check in. The beds were very comfortable and there were lots of extra towels. Laura was quick to respond to questions and even gave us helpful information about things to do and places to eat. Highly recommend!

Amazing, quiet retreat

It was super easy to get to this property from the freeway but once we got there we were amazed at how peaceful and quiet it was. The property was really private and secluded. Check in was really easy and our hosts were very friendly and helped us navigate the area. Laura was very responsive but also gave us privacy during our say. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. We loved the game room. It was nice not to have to bring a high chair and there were even some toys for kids to play with. we loved how big the kitchen was and found everything we needed to cook dinners for our family. We wanted to bake cupcakes for our kids birthday and messaged the host asking if she had a cupcake tin we could borrow. She delivered a brand new one to our doorstep a few hours later. Laura really went above and beyond to accommodate us. the house was well stocked and the hosts provided a lot of extras you wouldn’t expect from a rental. It was nice to have shampoo when we forgot to bring ours. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely rebook if we’re back in the area.
