The main problem was with the rental company. They had the incorrect password listed in the notebook. When we called them, they kept saying it was correct and saying they’d get back with us. Over several hours they never re-contacted us. We’d have to constantly contact them. We were able to figure out the password which was different than the one they had listed.

We have vacationed in Deep Creek several times in the last few years. We have been very happy with our lodging until this year. We booked 66 Bright Passage for July 6 – 9, 2025. We booked via Expedia. See attached link. I also saved screen shots in case you have problems. Under amenities this site states that this unit is air conditioned. On arrival we found that two bedrooms had in room air conditioners only. One seemed to be barely functioning ( not producing much cool air). The other had an exhaust hose that was not connected to the window properly, so it was exhausting hot air right back into the room. The lack of air conditioning was reported to Taylor-Made via a phone call on July 6. We were told that they would check and see if other air conditioners were available. We were never called back. During this phone conversation we were told that the Website clearly states that this unit was not air conditioned, not true as you can see. That may be true of other sites but not the one we used. The heat was such an issue, our son had to leave a day earlier than planned. The two of us sweated out another night and left on July 9. We also had a problem with a bed in one of the upstairs bedrooms. The fame came loose from the foot board. It appeared that repairs had been made with a corner brace and screws into the particleboard frame. This too was reported to Taylor-Made via a phone call. No one returned our call and/or acknowledged our problem or showed up
