House was clean, and conveniently located near ski slopes. My only critiques would be to have a heavier coverlet during winter months. The one on the bed was so thin it was like sleeping with only two sheets for warmth. Bedroom carpet and rugs could also use some updates too. I would recommend this pet friendly house to friends.

Inside the Property was wonderful. We had 6 adults and the property worked well. The outside of the building needs some TLC. Dry rot holes at the doorbell on the 2nd floor entrance. The 2nd floor porch needs the floor and trim scraped and painted. These items did not cause a problem. We really enjoyed our stay. I just mentioned them so they can be addressed. I would stay here again.

Really like the place. It was very clean. Kids liked it. Oh only thing that would be cool is if you had a DVD player on 1 TV at least. But I missed that in the description. We had brought a few movies but we played games we brought instead later in the day. We would stay here again. Can’t stress it was very clean. Thank you

Great Massanutten Getaway!

The property was clean and spacious - it is actually 2 different levels that look like they can be rented separately. Lots of wildlife in view and was an easy walk to some of the activities and easy in and out of Massanutten for JMU graduation. Only negative was the cost - price was hiked up because of JMY graduation--was twice the cos of a normal stay - but it is what it is. It was perrfect for a 2 night stay.

Weekend Family Getaway

Quiet, spacious, clean. A bit hard to enter house due to door lock but after calling customer service we figured it out. Close to great hiking. Fussball table was a hit with the teen.

Weekend getaway

Overall the stay was good. Had issues with accessing the property because the battery on the lock was dead and had issues with the internet router being out of date. Also the tub in the master bedroom does not have a switch to turn on the sauna. Other than that, the property was what we expected.

A BEAUTIFUL Stay Went Down the Drain Literally

Our stay started off wonderful. Beautiful place. Need to supply cleaners, etc. I think. But, the temperatures caused our draiin to flood and ruin the downstairs. Was NOT THEIR FAULT. Things happen. We were staying upstairs anyway.. Called them about it, they were there immediately. They fixed it offered a new uint or just use upstairs, so we did. They repaired everything and replaced everything.

We enjoyed having a stand alone home with privacy and plenty of deer to watch early morning and evening. Teens enjoyed having their own mini apartment downstairs.

We'll be back!

We had a fantastic time, our best anniversary weekend trip to date! As we were leaving for our trip, my fiance sprained her ankle, but opted to try and make it through...we ended up having a phenomenal trip with only minimal changes to our activities!There are lots of great activities for all ages very close by (we had to bail on tubung but stull had a blast at the escape room!) Or we just stayed and relaxed in the room (and the jetted tub!). Very clean and very comfortable!We even had deer ourside our bedroom window every morning watching us!

Beautiful little house

I loved my weeklong stay here with my teenage daughter, her friend and our dog. The house was clean and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The views of nature with all of the windows were amazing. The setup was perfect to allow the girls to have their own space downstairs, while I was able to relax quietly upstairs. The house was a little hard to find using Waze as it didn’t pick it up on the app, but it was literally the first house on the street. The property owner was excellent helping to guide us in, while checking on us through out our stay. Really enjoyed the property and our stay. I highly recommend it and will be back

Updates

The house was clean and quiet. I would suggest some blackout curtains. I didn't feel comfortable getting dressed there. Also at night the lights come thru. Maybe a thicker throw blanket for the downstairs area is drafty compared to the upper floor. Maybe update appliances. Waffle naker, Keurig, Air Fryer and equal amounts of dishes downstairs in the kitchen are.
