Tall ceilings and expansive windows in the living area create an open and inviting connection between the upper and lower levels of the home, while the full kitchen and dining area provide the perfect space for family meals. Guests will also enjoy conveniences like a weight room, a private hot tub, and a screened porch with ample views of the surrounding woods and the local wildlife that frequently pass through the backyard!
 
This vacation rental house is centrally located for popular resorts and local attractions! Spend your days on the resort skiing/ snowboarding on the slopes in the winter, ziplining at the Family Adventure Park in the summer, or experiencing Massanutten Indoor/Outdoor Waterpark any time of year! Massanutten Bear Lodge guests also receive free access to recreation centers at Massanutten Resort which include amenities like indoor and outdoor pools, tennis and basketball courts, fitness centers, racquetball courts, and so much more. House was beautiful! We had deer in the backyard everyday! Hot tub was perfect! No complaints! The only thing people should be aware of is the acorns dropping on your car in the driveway (luckily none of our cars had damage). We would definitely stay here again!

Falling short on expectations

I was hoping I was not going to have to write a negative review; however, since the company, Tripforth that manages this property, will not respond the issues that we had at this rental, I feel that I have a responsibility to leave one. Shortly after putting burgers on the grill, flames started shooting out from the rental property's grill. The grill was inches from the railing to the deck. It was a very scary comment as we searched for the fire extinguisher. Our dinner was destroyed leaving us to go out a buy dinner for the 9 of us. I contacted the company right away and then followed up the next day regarding this issue, as well as several other safety issues for the property. A week later, I am still waiting for the Tripforth to contact me. Attached are the pictures. As far as the safety issues and that the house needs some TLC, we really enjoyed our stay. It is in a very serene area, and we had plenty of space. The mattress in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms were great sizes and the furniture and decor were perfect. The laundry room was in a perfect location. Plenty of windows to enjoy the view.

Wonderful cozy home

We came with our 3 adult children for three nights for some skiing at Massanutten. The house was perfect for our needs: large, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds with TVs in every bedroom, and a fantastic hot tub. It was very convenient to the slopes.

Great stay!

Bear Lodge was just as described and pictured. We were very comfortable there for a week. There was plenty of room for many our family of four; it would be a great spot for two families to enjoy. The house overall was well appointed for use. The scenery and wildlife around the property were awesome to enjoy. Driving distance to the National Park was very convenient.

Great location and space

Located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac close to everything. Dryer broken, hot tub wouldn’t get warm on last night. Toys were great for kids. Sheets and pillows need to be replaced. Bring extra towels/blankets. Pictures accurate.
