The house was as pictured and very clean. Lots of space for everyone to spread out. We enjoyed the front deck for morning tea and evening drinks. The Wi-Fi worked very well, which was important to get some work done while there. Lots of fun things to do at the resort even with no snow (mini golf, water park, go-carts, summer tubing, etc.). We were in the area for a visit to JMU, and the location was convenient for a short drive into Harrisonburg. Check-in and check-out was easy, with clear directions sent in a timely manner. The owner was easy to work with, very accommodating, and extremely responsive. Thank you for sharing your lovely home, Kevin! We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place at Massanutten or near JMU.

Overall a great stay! Location was perfect. The home was clean; maybe a bit outdated. For the number of beds/baths, additional linens would have been nice. We enjoyed the hot tub but the chemical was strong. We had everything we needed for a great getaway and would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay! From the moment we booked, the host was responsive and helpful with communication, making check-in smooth and stress-free. The property was exactly as described, clean, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped with everything we needed. We especially loved the game room, Although we didn't see an air hockey table anywhere, we did especially love the game room. It helped to keep everyone entertained during our downtime, which isn't always easy with kids ranging from 7-22 years old. The home definitely contributed to our relaxing and memorable vacation, and we would definitely recommend this property to friends or family and plan to book again! Thank you again for a great stay!

From our initial arrival at the property there were issues. The first call to the host was regarding the poor outdoor lighting and broken handle on sliding glass door.Kitchen - The knobs on the stovetop were greasy. Kitchen table chair was missing, but was found broken in a closet.Bathrooms- Mold on along the bottom of the master bathroom shower curtain. Another bathroom tub was dirty. Broken shower door on the 2nd floor bathroom was broken/leaking water on the floor.Laundry room - Exposed electrical outlet.Family room - mold in ceiling.My next interaction on the 2nd day of our stay was unsettling. We had the unfortunate experience of having 2 vehicles towed from the property. I contacted the host to obtain necessary details to retrieve the vehicles. The host acted as if he was unaware of the situation but followed up with the security number. After speaking with security he informed me that he contacted the host to inquire if the vehicles belonged to individuals staying at property. Security contacted the host approximately 2 hours later; and the host indicated he couldn’t get ahold of the guest & vehicles did not belong to his guest. Ultimately, our vehicles were towed while we were away based on his comments. I never received a call from the host. The only email I received was earlier that morning regarding checkout procedures. I called the host to ask why he didn’t call, text, or email me? He became irate, started yelling, and asked what did I want?

We couldn't get the washer to work and there were maybe five drinking glasses. Also, the downstairs stove got scary hot very quickly. Other than that, great!

This was a great house for a JMU homecoming trip. My husband and I and my son and his friends (jmu alumni) had a great time with plenty of room. It’s a lovely neighborhood and house is very roomy and has everything you need. We will be booking again for next year.

Overall property was great. Just need more thorough cleaning of the rugs and floors. As they were little dusty. Small fixes required in the upper level bathroom. Location was great, it took us 5 minutes to drive to the mountaintop for a great view. Family-friendly, nice deck to sit for over 10 people and entertain outside.

Had a great time on our Massanutten getaway! The check-in was simple and check out was just as easy! The house holds 12 comfortably and the kitchen has everything you need! House perfectly designed for separate activities of a group

We had a variety of groups of guests. All could find a comfortable spot. Previous reviews of the property are accurate. We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Massanutten.Kevin was a helpful host, even sending someone with new propane tank on a Sunday evening!Thanks

Family wedding stay

House was clean and as represented online. Host , Kevin, was responsive to any questions and very helpful. Close to everything we needed. Love having all the bathrooms. Kids and adults loved the game room. Kitchen very nice and well equipped.

Beautiful place to stay for our daughters college graduation
