The stay was wonderful. Unfortunately after we stayed the host charged us for a broken toilet seat. I have gone back and forth with him over this. If we had broken the seat he would have been notified. His insistence that he is taking the cleaning crews word that it was us is infuriating. I feel that this by is the price of doing business. It was a m lovely experience till this happened. He considers it hearsay. A toilet seat just doesn’t fall off without some warning and I feel that this has been happening over time and it coming off was the final straw.

Our family of 6 stayed here for four nights, including Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It fit our needs perfectly in terms of layout, space, decor, and proximity to the mountain for skiing. Communication was great and the host was very responsive and prompt to questions. Highly recommend, and we anticipate coming back!

Loved the Christmas tree. Easy access to snow tubing and ice skating. Sheets and towels were appreciated. Kids area was great. Furniture was comfortable. Beds were nice.

Whitetail Hollow proved the perfect oasis for my family during a difficult weekend. Plenty of space for the eight of us, this well-appointed home offers quiet, bountiful amenities, and a responsive owner who is kind and helpful. An app for the home details everything you need to know, and the instuctions are clear and easy to follow. Our family did not use the hot tub, but we loved the Christmas tree and gas fire. The living room is large enough to comfortably accommodate a group like ours, and everyone had their own space, too. The kitchen is well-stocked for any culinary endeavor. Thanks for a relaxing, regenerative stay!

This is an excellent property for my family and me to enjoy a nice getaway for giving thanks to the Lord. The rooms were spacious and comfortable for us all to hang out, play games, and enjoy a few family meals over the Thanksgiving week. The host, Tom was outstanding, he was very responsive, provided valuable information to make sure we were prepared for the stay. I’d highly recommend this home.

House is nice and provided all we needed! Be aware that the driveway is very steep and parking 4 cars require some maneuvering and challenges for the elderly.

Nice location and neighborhood - limited outdoor living space

This property was very nice and tidy and in a very well kept neighborhood. The cooking ware and the kitchen was veey nice, and the bedroom/bathroom/ laundry set up worked well for our families.I did feel like the outdoor pictures were a little misleading as they made the deck and outdoor space look larger than the reality. There was little to no space available to sit on the deck and enjoy being outside. It just allowed room for the grill/blavkstone and a seat to use while grilling.It was a bit of a drive to Shenandoah National Park.However, we did not see a lot of accommodations that were closer.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to our family and frieds.

Great getaway Spot

Family and friends (8 of us) wanted to do some relaxing, site seeing, hiking and in general enjoy nature. This was a great spot that offered all of that. Loved the location and surrounding area. Tom is a great host and communicated very well. Nothing caught us by surprise and everything matched the descriptions and expectations. House was well put together. More than enough space to not feel squeezed together. Rooms were spacious, beds were comfortable. Loved the blackstone grill! The foosball table was a great hit with the kids. Would stay here again for sure. Thanks Tom!

Spring getaway

Beautiful property set adjacent to the Shenandoah National Park. Very clean and plenty of space for 5 adults and 5 children to enjoy a few days of relaxation. Everything we could possibly need was available. A little chilly for the hot tub but the kiddos didn’t mind. Fully equipped kitchen & plenty of space to enjoy our meals together. The Blackstone grill was great for cooking breakfast and dinner. Very close to shopping & restaurants if desired. Communication with Tom, the owner, was great. It was a wonderful getaway.
