While Estrella del Mar is a peaceful beachfront retreat removed from Mazatlán’s historic center (about a 30–40 minute taxi or rideshare ride away), the area offers unique excursions to enhance your stay. Guests frequently enjoy water taxi and boat rides to nearby islands such as Deer Island and Bird Island—a fun way to see more of the Pacific, relax on secluded beaches, and experience local marine life (bookable through local providers).

For city activities—art galleries, shopping, the Plaza Machado square, waterfront dining, and the lively Malecón—taxis, rideshare, or scheduled shuttles make exploring downtown easy. Water Quality & Comfort
Many resorts in Mexico advise guests to use bottled water, but Estrella del Mar operates its own onsite Reverse Osmosis treatment water purification system in a plant on the premises and the tap water throughout the resort is purified and safe for use — including drinking, brushing teeth, and preparing ice. This additional water treatment provides peace of mind and convenience during your stay.

• Resort & HOA Rules
Guests must follow Estrella del Mar community regulations, including pool, beach, and common-area guidelines. A signed acknowledgment form is required by the HOA before access is approved; guests will need to email the completed form to the on-site HOA manager prior to check-in.

• Ground-Floor Convenience
The condo is located on the ground floor, offering easy access to the pool and beach—helpful for luggage, strollers, mobility concerns, or simply a more relaxed stay.

Guests may use the complimentary designated parking space near Phase III. Additional resort parking may be available.
