Great stay at a good location

Great location when visiting Matera for three nights. The hotel consist of various rooms that are spread around the area, but all close to the reception. Staff were service minded and breakfast was great. Overall a great experience to stay in a room inside a cave. Btw the parking service and combined shuttle was a good setup. We can highly recommend Thymus Residence.

5-star experience. We really enjoyed our stay here from the room, the staff, the breakfast, and everything else. This was the best place we stayed at in our 12-night Southern Italy trip. The Duplex Room was really nice, the spa was very unique and special. The staff went out of their way to make sure they provide the best service. They also made great dinner recommendations and arranged for easy parking pick-up and drop-off.
