Everyone at Hotel Amista was fabulous. Our luggage was delayed and the servers in the bar loaned us their adaptors so we could at least charge our phones. The breakfast was lovely. While the street construction is kind of a pain, the hotel is in a great walking distance to the port, cafes and shopping. The front desk was very helpful. The room is quiet and we stay here again and highly recommend staying here. All of the employees were friendly and very helpful. I’m afraid to name them as I’m sire I would leave someone out. We met the hotel manager and she is great.
Beautiful hotel, newly remodelled. Knocking a point for cleanliness due to the fact our room likely had dirty towels still hanging behind the door. And our bathroom ceiling had a leak that caused clothing to get wet that was hanging. Otherwise everything was beautiful.
Nothing against the hotel but should be noted lots of construction in the area.
The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Despite recent reconstruction everything was under control with no disruption of services. I would have no hesitation recommending the hotel to others. I loved the vibrancy of the neighborhood and its close proximity to the Vieux Port. Area was very safe I thought - day and night.
