We had such an amazing time at this cabin! It was the perfect spot for our group, the place is huge with plenty of space for everyone to spread out, and the views are absolutely breathtaking. The accommodations were spot on. They really thought of everything we needed, from having extra towels for every guest to specifically providing towels for the hot tub. Parking was a breeze with plenty of space for our group, too.The hosts were awesome, super responsive and gave us some great local recommendations that we really enjoyed. We even hosted a private yoga session right in the living room because the space was so open and comfortable. If you’re planning a group trip, I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

We really enjoyed our stay at the skybox. The cabin was spacious, clean and peaceful. The host was in constant contact which was appreciated. If we visit Asheville again we will definitely book the skybox.

We love the location and views. The cabin was comfortable and had plenty of space for 10 of us. There was also stuff for our baby (crib, pack n play & high chair) which was wonderful. The charcoal was missing for the grills and one of the games downstairs was not working properly but not a huge deal for us. We loved our home away from home for the week and would highly recommend! Hope to visit again!

A clean, spacious, and beautiful place to to enjoy a getaway!

My family and I stumbled upon this gem of a place for a quick vacation getaway. We were all pleased with the stay. The game room, kitchen, mountain views, and jacuzzi were my favorite. I didn’t want to leave and will definitely book again for a longer stay next time. I highly recommend this to be the place to stay!

The Skybox is in an excellent location! Our party - 6 adults, were very comfortable in the size of this cabin each couple essentially having their own space on their own floor. We spent evenings in having home cooked meals in the kitchen that was fully stocked with everything you could need in the way of pots/pans/dishes/crockpot/glassware/silverware, etc. Loved having access to a dishwasher so that we did not have to do dishes by hand when on vacation. The host was very responsive to any message we sent, and even allowed early check in at no extra cost. Hatley Pointe seems to be very up and coming, posh/luxury atmosphere, and while the weather wasn't great skiing weather when we were there, we will definitely return.

Overall the property was good, but several neglected maintenance issues that were not addressed before we arrived and nothing done after we arrived and notified VRBO. 1. Video game joystick was broken, but advertised as functional, saw this on a previous review also.2. Grill was dirty and full of used charcoal…not cleaned up3. Not enough silverware. 5 forks. All knives were dull and nothing to sharpen them.4. Refrigerator shelf broken.5. Several lights not working throughout the house.

Best mountain getaway!!!

The Skybox was perfect for our long weekend getaway. It is an easy drive to Asheville but secluded enough to feel like you got away. The cabin is decorated perfectly and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Gorgeous views, relaxing hot tub, fun game room, this place had it all! We will definitely be back!

The View is Amazing

The view off both of the back balconies are worth the stay alone. The property amenities were amazing. Our favorite part of the trip included the hottub. Plenty of space, and the owner was so quick getting back to us when we had questions on how to use the grill and the upstairs fireplace. Already looking to rent this place again in the spring or summertime!

Relaxing and Family oriented

Enjoyed our stay. The home was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the quality of the kitchen equipment as well. Was hoping to enjoy skiing but we’re too late in the season, but the ski in/out is a real draw. Beautiful views and sunsets. Clear night and lights out provide a fantastic view of stars.

Its not the ski in-ski out that is on the title but it is less than a 10 minute walk to the slopes. Made the day go by so much easier not having to drive. There is a path across the street to a blue slope.

Wonderful Winter stay

We had a lovely stay at the Skybox and definitely plan on coming back! We might bring our own baby gates next time so we have a little extra baby proofing and peace of mind with our 1 and 3 year old. The gate that was there didn’t work well and wouldn’t stay up. The view was beautiful and the house was perfectly clean and organized.

Just what we needed.

This was initially planned as a family vacation for 7 and the Skybox would have accommodated us comfortably. The property is better than advertised. But due to life's challenges, my wife and I got to enjoy a much-needed private getaway in the hills above the Asheville area. The Skybox is very well appointed. We felt at-home immediately.

Gorgeous cabin with all the amenities

The Skybox cabin was beautiful and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. It held our party if 11 very comfortably. I loved some of the little touches like the makeup towels. During our stay the hot water heater died and was replaced which was unfortunate but the owner took care of it immediately and even made up for any inconvenience we experienced. I defintiely would come back to this property!

Everything about this house was perfect other than only 1 of 3 showers working. However we were refunded for 1 night so the owners were kind to do that.
