Excellent hospitality and service

We have stated before but in their other property Losta Sahil Ev which is a better location and quieter. Just a hundred yards away. We were upgraded to a room with sea view and made to feel very welcome. Service at the bar and restaurant was very attentive and helpful. Selimiye was surprisingly quiet and few restaurants and bars were open. Whilst it was nice to be quiet you did not get a feel for the location. Whist it was generally quiet we were very much disturbed on our second night by live music that finished after midnight and attendees who hung around till around 2am. If that’s what you want that’s fine, but it was very difficult to sleep. It’s a great hotel with 3 small properties and a small restaurant. The breakfasts are typically Turkish and tasty. The dinner menu is a competent menu and well prepared .

Herşey güzeldi.

Her odanın kendine ait büyük bir balkonu var. Kaldığımız oda gayet güzel ve temizdi. Otel çalışanları her daim ilgili ve güleryüzlüydü. Otele ait iskelenin odamızın 30-40m. önünde olması bizim için bir artıydı. İskelede kalan herkes için şezlong,şemsiye ve havlu vardı. Otel merkezden biraz uzak ancak yürüme mesafesinde, bu bizim için sorun olmadı çünkü otel çevresinin sessiz ve yaya trafiğinden uzak olması hoşumuza gitti. Otelin bulunduğu bölgede tekne sayısı çok olmasına rağmen deniz temizdi. Kahvaltılar güzel ve doyurucuydu. Ancak böyle güzel bir otelin misafirlerine oldukça bakımsız ve yetersiz bir otopark alanı sunması oldukça üzücü ve rahatsız edici.

Şubat ayında gitmemize ve sahilevinde kalan tek müşteri olmamıza rağmen herşey düşünülmüştü ve son derece samimi, sıcak davranışlarla karşılaştık. Lokasyon olarak hemen denizin yanıbaşında olması, odadan muhteşem bir manzarayla karşı karşıya kalmanızı sağlıyor ( üst katta ve denize bakan odada kalmıştık). Ahmet bey ve Hasan beye ilgilerinden dolayı çok teşekkür ediyoruz.

I booked this place 3 months earlier and the confirmation stated that no further confirmation is required and payment will be made at the hotel. I also sent a message to the hotel informing that we will be arriving in the late afternoon. Therefore when we arrived at the hotel by 7pm, I was surprised to find out that our room was already given away! The manager explained that he tried to contact me the day before (there was no voicemail or emails) and when he tried to charge my credit card (not sure why, unless a customer is no show), he realised that my card has expired (which has just been renewed), and therefore decided to cancel our booking! He also explained that he has checked this with Expedia who agreed with the cancellation. When I then called Expedia, they had no record of this and explained that they would never cancel a booking without contacting me first (which they haven’t). The manager then showed us a sub-standard room at their sister hotel, which we accepted to stay at for that night (at no cost with my insistence) and moved on the next day. The thing that annoyed us the most was not what has happened, but how the hotel manager handled the situation. During the whole conversation, he kept explaining why he was right in cancelling and feels comfortable as he covered himself with Expedia ( he even accused me for putting invalid card details) and there was never a word of apology for the inconvenience caused and absolutely no focus on customer experience.

Öncelikle otelin sahibine ilgili ve alakalı tavrı için, Otelin yönetimine ve çalışanlarına ise işletmecilik kalitesinden ödün vermeden hizmet sunmayı başardıkları için teşekkür ederiz.Hepsi çok çalışkan, dürüst ve efendi çalışanlar. Otelin olanakları ile ilgili olarak; denizi bir harika, kahvaltısı fazlasıyla yeterli, hele 5 çayı ikramları şahaneydi. Sessiz sakin huzurlu bir tatil planlıyorduk. Tam anlamıyla da bunu yaşayabildik. Yemekleri ve mezeleri de çok lezzetliydi. Akşam restorantı da gayet keyifliydi. Bize göre Selimiye' de güzel ve kaliteli bir tatil için gidilebilecek tek adres Losta Sahil Evi. Tatil yeri araştıran ve gitmeyi düşünen herkese tavsiye ederiz.

Tatil deyince akla ilk gelen...

Sezon başlamadan gittik ve kusursuz dört gün geçirdik. Öncelikle doğa, deniz harika. Otel tertemiz. Çalışanlar ve sahipleri ailecek hep birlikte yazlığa gelmişsiniz duygusu yaşatıyor. Fiyat bu kaliteye göre çok uygun. Her isteğinize güler yüzle çözüm bulunuyor. Şiddetle öneriyoruz. Hatta biz sezonu orada açtığımız gibi orada kapatmak istiyoruz☺️
