Margs Break is a one bedroom one bathroom studio located on the first floor in The River complex. The motel style apartment has a separate living room with smart TV, comfy couch, tea & coffee making facilities and bar fridge (no kitchen). The bathroom has a spa bath with shower over, vanity and toilet. The bedroom has a queen bed with TV and a small balcony. Margs Break is suitable for 2 guests.
The Space
Margs Break is a compact studio apartment with all you need for a quick getaway in a central location in Margaret River town. As you walk up the stairs to the first floor, you enter the front door on the west end apartment and are welcomed into the living room. The living room has a TV, comfy couch, table and chairs. There is no kitchen, however the following are provided as tea & coffee making facilities; coffee machine (pod), kettle, toaster, microwave, bar fridge, basic cutlery and crockery.
Through the short hallway is the bathroom, with vanity, large spa bath with overhead shower and toilet.
The bedroom has a queen bed and TV with free to air channels, there is a small balcony with table and chairs.
Margs Break is located in The River complex, there is a Hotel on site with ‘River Bar and River Restaurant’, a pool to use from September to April, tennis court and wifi. There is parking for one car outside the studio. Margs Break is a great spot for a couple to stay while exploring the Margaret River region.
Other Things to Note: WIFI is limited as it’s shared by the whole complex. Not able to be used for streaming.
Extra fees: Cleaning Fee: While we charge a cleaning fee, we still expect our guests to leave the house in a neat & tidy condition on departure and follow our check-out instructions including washing all dishes and removing rubbish to outside bins etc. Credit Card Fees: 1.75% credit card fees apply for domestic VISA, Mastercard & EFTPOS, 3.50% for international VISA, Mastercard & EFTPOS and 3% for AMEX.

Average - terrible bed! Dangerous bath!!!
The property is located at the back of the pub, which makes it easy for dining and is fairly close to town. The unit is a decent space and check in and out was seem less. However that's all the good I can say, communication with the owners was not good. The bed is terrible cheap hard feeling. the spa bath is dangerous, its so high you have to actually climb into it to shower (I'm 5.7ft) when you shower you are standing very high, the water runs from the bath surrounds when showering directly onto the tile floor, so when you need to very carefully crawl out of the bath/shower you are coming from a height onto a wet slippery floor. After the first night of no sleep from the uncomfortable bed. I tried contacting the owner and asked if they could supply a mattress topper or something to make it okay to sleep on bcoz I had a 4 night stay and my back wasn't going to handle that, I had a reply saying no that didn't have anything but maybe drop off a 2nd doona to fold and put under me. I obviously said if that's all you have I'll take anything. Then nothing, they ghosted me after that. No doona, no reply to any of my messages, nothing!!!!! Terrible service. You have to clean your own dishes when you leave which is okay, but I am not sure if they check them because a few cups/mugs when I went to use them was dirty. The bathroom was clean but the toilet brush was covered in well let's just say mess. So overall it was clean and tidy but the finishing touches were just not on point.
