Nova Scotia Friends and Family Get away

My father, cousin and her husband from Ireland, and friends from Nova Scotia and I spent two nights here in July. It was fabulous. The location and views of the coastline are beautiful. We had our small puppy with us and management had a dog bed and dishes set up for our arrival. The beds were fabulous with new bedding and the cabin was spotless. Management has thought of everything including terry cloth housecoats for you to use with the hot tubs. A wonderful experience all around!

AVOID. False Advertising. No AC. No Privacy.

The hosts are unfortunately just there to extract maximum rents without any effort. If you enjoy paying $8000 for a week, to stare into the windows of the adjacent properties. With no working AC, and uncomfortable beds, advertised as luxury. Go ahead and book. If you are a person who's stayed at a hotel, best stay there. *Avoid* Avoid Avoid. And good luck getting your money back, ghosted.

The best

We had an incredible stay at this high-end property with fantastic finishings, a really well-equipped kitchen, and an amazing beach on our doorstep. Highlights were the incredible ocean view, which was particularly breathtaking at sunset, the wood-fire heated hot tub, and the outdoor shower with both privacy and a view. Marco and Scott were both incredible hosts and made our stay even better. We had plans to get out and visit nearby towns and the National Park which was really close by, but scaled these back for the pleasure of staying at this property. Big thanks for making our stay in Cape Breton the highlight of our trip to Nova Scotia.

Vacation Perfection

Ridge on the Chimney offers a magical balance of nature and luxury, adventure and relaxation, modern convenience and seclusion. We loved exploring the beautiful island- kayaking, whale watching and hiking, but were thrilled to return to the retreat of this upscale cabin. It was an ideal spot for a family vacation with our children aged 6-12, given the large outdoor spaces and direct access to Chimney Corner Beach. But the spectacular views from the private hot tub and outdoor shower, along with excellent local cuisine, no doubt would also make for the perfect romantic getaway. The personal attention from our hosts, on this occasion Scott and May, was remarkable. From preheating our hot tub prior to our arrival, to including special treats with our family in mind, we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Their thoughtfulness was notable throughout our stay with excellent, though never invasive, communication. Their love of Cape Breton was evident in the meticulous care they have invested in this vacation property, and was indeed infectious, as we can’t wait to return
