The house was difficult to find as our maps app sent us to the wrong location twice. Once there, the door combo lock wouldn't accept the security code. We've used this type of lock before, so we're no stranger to it's quirks. We were on hold with VRBO for more than 10 minutes. They gave us the location/combo for the master key and we were able to use that for our whole stay as the electronic one never worked for us.
The house was very nicely furnished and clean. Some VRBO properties provide a little welcome refreshment package of coffe, wine, or something. This one did not. There were a couple of spices and some artificial sweetener in a cupboard.
The beds were super comfortable with quality linens. There were only two bath towels between the two bathrooms, but we found the rest -- damp -- in the dryer in the unlocked laundry room next to the garage. It was a little irrating to have to finish drying, fold, and put away laundry.
The master bathroom had a broken shower door and a make-do shower curtain as a temporary replacement. The cord for the venetian blinds was broken, as was one in the bedroom.
The hot tub was clean and inviting!
The deck was sturdy, but needed some maintenance as the boards were chipped and needed stain. There was a table, chairs, and two loungers, but no grill.
It would have been nice to have had a map showing how to walk down to the beach as there was no clear path to use.
Overall, I probably wouldn't rent this property again.
