Communication with host before arrival was great, very quick to respond. Upon arrival the we noticed the neighborhood was very run down, with boarded windows on multiple houses. The inside of the house was fairly clean in appearance, but there were gnats and a mildew smell. After a few hours we knew we could not stay the weekend there, and found another place that day. Reached out to host hoping to work out some kind of refund since I had to get another place, plus after one response they went radio silence.
