Great quite luxury place for a couple to relax and unwind. Perfect setting on a lake and a lot of privacy. Nice amenities and really enjoyed the complementary bottle of wine.

Silkwood was an amazing honeymoon stay!! Beautiful views of the lake, peacful surrounds and the chalets are so lush and comfortable. I highly recommend Silkwood Estate and will definitely be making this stay again!

This is an excellent forrest retreat holiday for a couple. Lots of great bush walk trails next to cottages. Scenery from cottage balcony across lake to Forrest amazing. Also the on-site restaurant dining was superb as are their “Silkwood Estate” wines. Was a real treat and a memorable stay.

Perfect little sanctuary! I miss the trees and lake, so much. Have stayed in a number of different chalets or glamping tents or even Bibbulmun huts, while hiking this exceptional area and the Silkwood chalet was a perfect combination of luxury and nature. Wonderfully close to trail runs on the Bibbulmun track and the Warren River Loop, as well the walk, north west out of the property is beautiful too. It is straight out of the ‘90s in design, but it is done very well and we wanted for nothing. Very comfy bed and great breakfast offerings. Would definitely book again. The only down side was absolutely no comms after ‘booking confirmed’ in regard to where to find key or even which of the four chalets. It was New Year’s Day, so understandable. Thus for the first few hours we wondered if we had the right chalet. Even just a small chalkboard saying ‘welcome’ and the guests name would help allay concerns in the future. Otherwise, loved it! Many thanks.

Very happy with the chalet

The property is located in a tranquil vinyard estate. The chalet has a fully equipped kitchenette which is wonderful, we didn't have to buy any oil or salt. First day breakfast basket was provided which was really nice. My wife and I were on a business trip, and we really enjoyed the stay. We recommended this place to our family and we will come back again!

Beautiful property with a gorgeous chalet. Everything you need was here. Particularly liked the breakfast hamper with its very tasty inclusions. Seen some beautiful birds but beware the mosquitos and use repellant.

Beautiful location and accommodation. Mainly booked this location because there was a restaurant and Cellar door on site BUT was told the day before both were closed this should be noted on the booking site not afterwards.

The little things about this property were what we liked best, a welcome present on arrival and a fridge and breakfast tray stocked with amenities and breakfast items. Staff were very helpful and friendly.Amazing property to go for a stroll on, with nets and pots so you can try your luck in the dam. Would definitely come and stay again!!

Absolutely stunning Chalets, total luxury and complete privacy in a beautiful setting all of the chalets patios open up and look out over the lake and they all have huge full wall windows to take in the views. Chalets are beautifully appointed and very well set up with everything you need for your stay. Options of breakfast trays delivered or BBQ packs is a great idea as well. Only thing to note is you MUST ring Silkwood on the landline before you arrive as it is self check in.

Beautiful quiet relaxing spot. When we arrived there was no one around to point us in the right direction! I would have been nice to have received some information prior to arrival about where the keys etc were and that the property was unattended.
