We had booked 2 rooms and had to check in late. When we got to the rooms, they smelled like gas and excrement. The hotel is under reconstruction, and we were not warned in any way. Windows could not be opened, so there was no way to get fresh air in. We had to check out at midnight and find another hotel 7 kilometers away. Currently, there is no compensation for the extra costs associated with the taxi and other hotel. Hotels.com gave a small voucher for the inconvenience, but nothing that covers the extra cost and inconvenience.
